Cicada Springs v0.2.1
Added 2022-12-27 16:34:37 +0000 UTCI hope everyone's had a very happy holiday season - now that we're barreling towards 2023, you know I had to get out another update to Cicada Springs!
Full disclosure: this one is almost purely a technical update. But it introduces the meters for "Fat" "Friend" and, uh... "Romance". In addition to a map redesign and a shuffling of how things are loaded into the game.
The good news is that this should be the last of "this" kind of update for quite a while. Now that all of the groundwork has been laid (fuckin' finally, right?) I can hopefully barrel through with the rest of the three chapters that will make up the main bit of the story. So the next three months bring lots to look forward to!
I'm also sick with a nasty case of strep throat, so updates and patches on this might be a little slow. The Mac version will be posted once I find the charger to my MacBook, and I'll find my MacBook when I manage to drink enough DayQuil and eat enough cough drops to fight God.

The game only goes up to Day 2 so far, so that's correct. Day 3 will be coming later this month! There are only going to be 5 "days" (plus an epilogue where you can see how your choices played out). So this month, we're going to be hitting the halfway point. Days 1-5 will be about making choices, giving gifts, making friends, and affecting the story, and then "Day 6" (the epilogue) will be about seeing how things have changed after a timeskip.
