See the title! This page will get updated every time that I make significant changes/progress on the game. Some of these things are based on fan requests/suggestions, the others are just little spoilery bits to keep y'all invested as I hammer out the last parts of the chapters ahead.

Ginny and Gabby and Griselda and Tia and Delilah can actually USE the weapons that I programmed in now, so super.

New class White Witch - don't worry, it won't come into play until the latter half of Chapter 7

Changes/Adjustments:

This one has a BIG weapons and armor change. This should make playing the game a bit easier in the early levels, as well as allow for a bit more customization. I'm going to do a few more changes here and there with what items you can equip to the playable characters, but that will wait until I'm satisfied with the stat changes.

Tora's bugginess SHOULD be fixed. If it's not, let me know. Because holy shit, this one is kind of what took so long to figure out. I need to get it fixed so that I can figure out how to script the epilogue in Chapter 7.

Stat adjustments continue - debuffed Alma so that Chapter 6 is a bit more fair. In a similar vein, there is now a functioning item shop where you can apply weapons to the characters. Don't try to put swords on any of the witches yet - that's addressed in an earlier point, but it's coming.

On top of that, a few more minor hitboxes and spriting issues were fixed. Some characters got new spritesheets with miniscule differences, but that are all on one page now (like Remi)

Remi and Kara's scenelets have been culled - the story no longer diverges depending on whether or not you rescued Remi in Chapter 2. Instead of a dramatic scene involving both of them, you can now interact with everyone at Granny's house (except for Kara in Chapter 3, who is still at the Tavern)

The portal will no longer trap you in the realm of the dead.

Fat Delilah is actually programmed into the game now, so neat.

Uma now has a nameplate! Which is great, considering that she's one of the folks you've gotta deliver to.

Entering Town Square as Griselda in Chapter 3 from the southern entrance no longer causes the game to freak out.

Griselda will no longer complain about going up a flight of stairs twice

Entering Town Square in Chapter 4 from the righthand entrance in the first part of Aemple is now possible.

It is once again impossible to go into the employee rooms. They're locked, you pervs.

Leaving the tower in the Badlands, once you've defeated Lily Beth is now impossible, and therefore you will not be able to repeat the cutscene.

Exiting the Land of the Dead in Chapter 4 is now impossible, as a complement to the fix above.

Dienro Scenarios have been temporarily walled off until I can figure out just what the hell is making it so that they freak out for everybody. Hopefully they'll be back soon.

Fixed game-breaking bug in the delivery quest causing Ginny to stare at the wall as if in shame, with no hope of rescue.

5 new areas added - Aemple (Outer District), the Badlands (both retroactively added to be accessible as early as Chapter 2), Abandoned Tower, the Deadlands, and Pandemonium

New characters added - Thanya the Chef (Pandemonium) the Shirewood Shipping Heiress (Outer District) plus [REDACTED] as a recurring miniboss! (Abandoned Tower and beyond)

Shirewood Shipping Heiress's quest line will be added to help flesh out Chapter 3

Graphical updates for certain areas - Witch's Tower to receive remodel

Fixed an issue with Freya's delivery. Removed the random movement on both her delivery mission and the Basement Fairies so as to avoid potential softlocking.

Save file continuation is still an issue (continuing from chapter 2 to chapter 3). Will attempt to get to the bottom of issues that some players are having.

I've found a few key dialogue spots where Griselda's portrait is replaced by Ginny, which I've fixed. I'll be on the lookout for more parts like this that I may have goofed on when I start working on the 3.2 update.

For now, I've patched the guard's meal quest and the beds making the screen fade out, as well as an issue with making the delivery to Freya's house.

As for the save file issues, some players are having issues depending on WHERE they've saved, and unfortunately that's going to take more time to fix. For now, here's a cursory patch that should clean the game up a little for now.

* A new Shop in Ashani the Seamstress, who will take the Hat Charms and other trinket items from the Magic Shop

QOL Fixes: 

* A Healing Station located in the tower to restore HP/MP. Each sister's bed works for that respective sister. There are dialogue choices that let you know when you're looking at the player character's bed in each chapter.

* Gold drop rate increased on certain enemies (Cave Fairies/Slimes)

* Befitting her great big new look, Grizz will walk slower than Gabby/Ginny. This can be changed through interactions with Calahree's crystal.

* Encounter rates in the Forest Maze are half what they are everywhere else, by way of the popular vote of Beta Testers.

* New individual dialogue for certain interactions have been fixed (wells, the cat, the Great Big Door in the item shop, and the chest behind the tower)

* Smoother scene transitions in a few spotty areas in Chapter 1

Spoilers/Common Questions:

* Bunny Bombshell's quest is linear - if you didn't do it right in Chapter One, she won't be available for the quest in Chapter 2 and beyond. Working on a substitute/"second chance" scenario later down the line. (If she's fat in Chapter 2, you did it right)

* Kara will gain weight regardless of your interactions with Remi. Remi will only gain weight if you kick off her quest line in Chapter 2. If you're not sure whether or not you did it right, there will be a way to check come Chapter 3.

* Key Items will play a much bigger feature after Chapter 3. Key Items will be awarded for completing side quests around Aemple. I plan on adding in these rewards retroactively through the autoscript in Chapter 3, but replaying the first two chapters will be highly encouraged. Though the What If? scenes may not be available, it's essential for players to have them so that you can view them when they ARE available.

* The Fat Housewife Quest branches in three ways. One where you told her to move back in with her sisters, one where you told her to branch out on her own, and one where you didn't do anything at all. This will not be implemented until Chapter 4, but Chapter 3 has a way to tell which way this quest is leaning if you're unsure.

Comments

With all of the issues that people are having with the Dienro scenes, I'm going to have to take them out until I can figure out WHY people are having so many problems with them. It's not a script issue, so it has to be something else. Thanks for letting me know, and I'll get on it as soon as possible :)

(Not sure how/whether I need to spoiler tag this) 4.1.0 on Windows When I select the red rabbit ears "what if," when the scene goes to the backstage area the Bunny character is missing, and I think Ginny is in the wrong place. Then after the scene outside the Inn when Ginny sees the job posting, when the Inn interior loads I have no character and nothing happens.

Hello, I'm playing the 0.4.1.0 on Mac, and I have encountered a big problem: it seems the Saves do not work. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I just wanted to warn, just in case. I go to the Save menu, but each I click on one or press the action button, it just makes the "deny" sound.

I'm curious now what actually happened to the Hero's Axe that Ginny misplaced. It'd be a missed opportunity if it never reappeared, even just in passing.

Thanks for letting me know about these! Some of these I've already gotten down to fixing, but a couple of them got out from under me.

I have a list of bugs for 3.1.3 It's a bit long, mostly since I tend to be a bit overly verbose in describing them. -hitboxes on the birdcage and the coat rack in the base near the portal are a bit wonky -hitbox on the (thing that measures planet alignment?) has been fixed, but only the left side responds to action commands. The right side does not. -By starting the “get bunny a snack” questline and then mentioning the help to Freya, you can trigger the “receive turkey” cutscene repeatedly. However, on repeat viewings, the turkey itself is not rendered. -For whatever reason, I was allowed to enter the Town Square as Gabby. More investigation into specifics may be necessary. -One and only one of the worshippers in the church cannot be interacted with. This just feels weird to me. -The “select” noise in the battle menu is a bit intrusive. Spamming it sounds like a turret from Portal getting killed -Cutscenes should be skippable -Ginny and Griselda can’t read the sign that’s on the way to the mountaintop -When Ginny transforms into BB, her sprite changes into a green BB, but her portrait doesn’t change to reflect this. -During BB’s routine, Ginny briefly appears as her usual self instead of as a green BB. -Most doors open up onto brick walls instead of doorways -Running the maze repeatedly lets you get an unlimited amount of Strange Tokens -Griselda also thinks that Griselda should take better care of that book -While Jae is working the register you can walk behind the register and access the kitchen. There, you’ll see a second Jae. -The “wanted to talk to you” option in the shop remains well after it’s needed -Missing hitbox under the bowl of green stuff in the “abandoned” house

Not exactly a bug, but if you have Alma hired when you go to face the crystal at the end of chapter 2, she's still there with Griselda when she comes back later that night. It doesn't quite fit the vibe of the scene imho.
