Somewhere on the Swedish high coast, on a very peaceful evening, facing the Skuleskogen national park mountains. We filmed this little bubble of poetry that Hisaishi wrote for Ponyo.
The place was so serene and calm, you could hear the sound of the birds wings piercing the breeze. A few cottage housses or ''stugor'' around us, couldn't dare to make a noise!
You might notice I'm not pressing the piano keys entirely, neither Bastien and Marwane are pushing on their bow too hard, to avoid making too much sound.
A little family allowed us to stay on their dock where the view was the best but they were sleeping already when we started filming at the golden hour, which is very late that north of the globe!
Still, superb midnight sun and grateful for this lovely evening.
