PPF3 last update and resuming activity :)

hello! it's been a bit. i holed up for all of April to get through a good chunk of PPF episode 3, and that i did! i sadly wasn't able to finish it as i had hoped this month, but i'd say it's roughly around 85+% done and unless my hands explode in a hand-exploding related incident, it should come out in the next few weeks.

i explained it more thoroughly in the previous update about it, though again i can't stress enough my apologies for taking so long with it. i know most people won't mind, but all the same, i really didn't want to take nearly another year for another episode to drop, especially now that i'm confident we can get them done quicker. and to be fair, cleanup was relatively done quickly i think! certainly quicker than previous episodes, its just the storyboard/animatic stage this time around that i bumbled through in a burnt out state and took nearly 3 times longer than i usually do. i am confident future episodes will be done quicker, i'd really like to try my best to aim for a 6 month turnaround. the pipe dream of 2 episodes a year.. wow.. imagine!

i don't think i have anything significant to add that the previous update didn't cover, so i just wanted to share more screencaps of the episode in a more cleaned up state.
i think around this point with the last episode, i shared some art of the antagonists of the episode, so i'll do that again here now:

The Nabe (nah-bay) brothers are a legendary tag team wrestling duo in the Akumugai's demon wrestling federation (DWF!). Mika, their arm candy, doesn't have much to say, but when she does speak up, she's very elegant with her words! she's one of their girlfriends but can't remember which one, due to the twins having no visual distinctions to differentiate one from the other whatsoever.

let me tell ya, having 2 near identical characters.. worst mistake of my effin' life!!! more than one incident of accidentally coloring one the wrong color for an entire sequence ;(

These guys were designed with revisions/input from SpankyDraws
First time workshopping character designs with someone else but it's been really fun, he's a cool artist with a same eye for old school anime and Capcom inspired designs, so a perfect fit!

Also, i'll try to resume activities here posting again. Just posted a shirt design I did for Super Eyepatch Wolf , and i'll be getting back on the art poll train, should post one tomorrow or day after!
