Yeah I worked it out I think, it sounds like what we say in English. We do say terms like Great Grandfather. But we also say my Fathers Fathers Father or Mothers Mothers Mother OR Mothers Fathers Father (great grandfather on your mothers side) So it sounds pretty similar :).

2023-10-27 16:18:57 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone told you but in every letter they say the title of their relatives in Swedish, like "farmor" or "morfar". That is because we seperate grandmothers and grandfathers depending on if they're on your father's or mother's side. Farmor = father's mother, Farfar = Father's father, Mormor = mother's mother and Morfar = Mother's father. So instead of saying great great grandmother, you can say mormors farmor, which mean you know the "line" from yourself to your mother's mother's father's mother is.

2023-10-27 15:58:07 +0000 UTCThat's similar to my itinerary, I wasn't going to visit Denmark but i could definitely start there before coming to Sweden. I didn't know there was a train to Sweden I could take. Thanks for all of this info, it's super helpful :)

2023-09-10 11:36:59 +0000 UTCIf you want to visit more countries on your trip, you can start in Denmark, take the train to Sweden and around southern Sweden, Gothenburg, Malmö... then continue to Norway by train or bus. Visit Oslo and Vigelandsparken :) Then take train, bus ir aircraft to Stockholm. Eat a quick kanelbulle and the take the famous ferry to Helsinki and Finland.. and if you have time left after that, you can even continue to Estonia from there.
