These vlogs in the past couple of days! Awesome! Keep it up man, you'll be caught up soon enough. Kind of cool getting these Christmas-ey vibes farther away from the season, keeping it jolly.

There'll be a vlog when I'm fully caught up that goes into detail about each and every circumstance that caused things to fall behind so badly, but it really comes down to "we traveled a lot and made extremely complex videos". We were gone for most of the summer—and while I was able to schedule videos on StephenPlays for that time, it meant not getting a chance to work on StephenVlog at all (or in extremely limited amounts). To make matters worse, the vlogs we made were super long and complex. I'm very proud of the Greece vlogs, but they took forever to create. And then to make matter worse, I took on the task of editing down Camp Fangamer, which single-handedly put me behind by weeks. The problem is that I do so much already on both channels that it's difficult to juggle things *without* leaving town. Once I leave town and can't work on things, stuff can really fall apart. It's one of the reasons we're cutting PAX East out this year (and doing far less summer trips), because I just can't recover from them in a timely manner. The good news is that vlogs are catching up at a quick rate (I got rid of the vlog endslates and that's helped in a big way). We might be caught up by the end of February at the current rate. I feel terrible that things have been behind for this long, but I can definitely look back and see why it happened. I hope this helps explain a little better! I think the fact those vlogs were from summer is confusing to some people: "how are you still behind, the vlogs that got you behind were from summer!", but there's a huge ripple effect. The Greece vlogs were filmed in July but weren't out until September, so by then everything was already several months behind. When you consider we released over 700 videos on StephenPlays in 2015 alone, the larger picture begins to make a little more sense, I think.

Trying not to be rude, but are we going to get the full story on why vlogs have been continuously behind, and that every time new vlogs come out, the delays were big enough to be pretty much back to square one, and how something like this will be avoided in the future? I recall you mentioning not going to PAX this year, so could you elaborate on that, or is it still not in the cards yet? If we DO get the full story, then will the Patreons be the only ones to hear it, or will you be comfortable enough to release it to the public? It's okay if you're only comfortable talk to us Patreons, but it'd be nice to get something.
