Full explanation: due to being busy with CheffCon, we didn't film the video until August 3rd (these videos normally debut on the 2nd). I figured I could upload it the same day, but I discovered Chaz's upload speed is terrible. I let it run overnight (to release the morning of the 4th), but the upload froze at some point around 50%. I decided I'd resume the upload that evening when we got to Knoxville, TN, but found out there's been a major cell tower issue that has left several states with no cell phone service, and we were affected. It also meant the hotel had no WiFi! Finally, cell service came back so I tethered my phone to my laptop to finish the upload and get this video to you folks tonight. An adventure indeed.
As always, thank you so much for the continued support. This has been a crazy summer for us, filled with extreme stress and extreme relaxation. Things should return to normal pretty soon, though! I hope you enjoy the video :D

If I could get a copy (and get it working), that'd definitely be an interesting First20. There's another old game that's sponsored by Taco Bell I've been meaning to do, too...

As of this past February(-ish), I've been watching your content for 3 years, although it definitely doesn't feel like that long. I found out about your channels through The Game Station channel spotlight video you put out, and started watching the vlogs (around day 800, I believe); I began to watch Stephenplays a little while later, and have been a big fan of both channels since! I don't comment too much, but you may have seen some comments from me (YouTube un: classicalweepsgently). I wanted to thank you and Mal for all the content you produce, as it's had a large impact on me especially in regards to making me more accepting of lots of types of people. Regarding Magic games, do you know of the 1997 Magic: the Gathering RPG (developed/published by MicroProse)? It could make for an interesting First20 if you can find a copy/emulator. Your To the Moon LP is one I really wanted to watch, but I felt like it would be the kind of game I'd like to experience for myself before watching another person play it. Going in blind seems like the best thing to do for emotional games like that.

2015-08-31 00:51:52 +0000 UTCI'm still not sure what the plan is (if any -- there's still a chance that we may not do a 10th anniversary video), but legal issues are probably the top of the list. We want to make a fun video, but definitely avoid any security issues, etc.

2015-08-08 00:26:02 +0000 UTCWell, if it ends up you don't want to do an Earthbound prank outside, you could always do it on a video game with random people. It would bridge your Let's Play channel, vlog channel, Earthbound community, and people who like it when people mess with players on games. But if you do that, please make sure Alex is involved since he is obviously an expert on that regard, lol. I think it would be best option, since you wouldn't cause any legal issues.
