Just finished the watch along. I saw this way back in the day when it premiered and came away feeling just like you did in your recap. The trailer sold it as this exciting spy/thriller/action movie but that’s not really what we got. Came away underwhelmed.

She is not necessarily German.. likely she Vishy French.. Before Anna was born.. it’s hard for her to reveal the truth and risk her life with her German handlers.. After Anna is born.. it’s even harder for her to tell the truth.. two lives are now at risk.. Again.. thanx for the reaction!
