The ATCU continues to be a pain in the ass but Coulson being Coulson has found a temporary solution. Of course Hydra would want psychopaths willing to fight to the death just for a chance to join. You definitely have to be a bit crazy to join Hydra. Fitzsimmons dinner was definitely the highlight of this episode and Fitz is doing a great job at helping her adjust.

2024-12-14 03:32:38 +0000 UTCDespite this episode focusing quite a bit on Lincoln and the ATCU, the main thing I associate with this episode is Fitz taking Simmons to the restaurant for the dinner they planned before she was taken by the monolith - keeping a reservation for several months and the hiring out the entire restaurant can't have been cheap! Lincoln's proving to be a bit of his own worst enemy - yes, the ATCU is scaring the public by releasing details of an 'alien terrorist suspect', but Lincoln's scaring the crap out of anyone who gets in his way as well. Coulson deciding to work with the ATCU is a nice little bit of growth - as he says, going against them would be a waste of time and resources, and SHIELD has enough to deal with already with Ward revitalising Hydra, new Inhumans and hunting the monster from 3x01
