When you get into the 2010s, especially the late 2010s closer to the present, it's less obvious what kind of titles might be chosen because time has not sorted some to the top. Some 2019 films I'd be happy with: • Doctor Sleep, preferably the superior director's cut • Little Women • Us • Ford v Ferrari • Midsommar 2017: • Blade Runner 2049 • The LEGO Batman Movie • The Big Sick One very unlikely possibility -- unless the winner of the spin then requested a movie -- would be the one-two punch of Happy Death Day (2017) and its sequel Happy Death Day 2U (2019). Now that'd be really great.
