Interesting stuff! I take it from the conversation between Luke and Jess that my wild Inhuman theory was wrong. Would've been kinda cool though. But with you saying you had conflicting sources on if the show is set before or after AoS S2, I guess that was clearly going to be the case, because if it had been true, the placement would've been clear. Other than that, Kilgrave is terrifying as always and I hate how Hope is getting treated by most people at the moment.

This is definitely not a comment about episode 3... 😅

I figured all the people in the "support group" in the diner were Kilgrave's victims. Those were the ones Jessica weeded down from the initial group. The driver was the first one that gave Jessica info she could use to get her closer to Kilgrave by giving her concrete info on Kilgrave's movements. Granted the rest of them thought that she was there to be part of the group, but she was just interested in the info to help her get Kilgrave. She's not interested in "feeling better" about what happened to her while he's still out there. I know I wouldn't feel safe until I knew he was gone.

I would pay big bucks just to see Steve Rogers and Jessica Jones have a conversation at a bar and swap stories. Steve being such an optimist and Jessica being such a pessimist would make for an interesting evening.

So...the coffee cup that you thought looked like the same ones they use at MJ's work...it's called an Anthora...which I'm guessing was originally "amphora" after the Greek vessels for oil and such...there's one pictured on the side of the cup. Anthoras have been an NYC staple since the 60s. They were originally marketed to the hundreds of Greek coffee carts, but have since just become sort of the iconic NYC coffee cup of choice for any vendor that isn't a massive chain.

Heh well, Jess IS fucked up so she's gonna make some fucked up decisions.

Spicy episode. Sadly Jess slept with Luke while knowing that she killed his wife. We saw her struggle with the image continuously flashing in her mind. It's like Luke said people have both good and bad . Her also pushing Malcolm at the hospital was messed up as well but there was a good reason behind that. Fucking Luke is just so fucked..... Like Jesus girl I know it wasn't your fault but why would you do that. It makes things so much more complicated.

Super easy to miss, but Reva was linked to the bus crash in the previous episode. When Jessica is trying to get information about Killgrave at the hospital, it brings up her picture and information as the only casualty of the bus crash. The guy on the radio was talking about the events in The Avengers... He also said he was from Westchester which may have been a cheeky, very vague X-Men reference, since that's where they're traditionally based in the comics, but this was before Disney had acquired the rights, and a little too specific to be completely random. 'Sweet Christmas' is Luke's old catchphrase from the comics. He was introduced in the early 70s as an attempt to cash in on the Blaxploitation genre, so having a catchphrase was part of the stereotype. Now it's only brought up ironically or otherwise for laughs.
