The Jieb Agenda Newsletter - August Edition

August Greetings!

A big thank you to 5K runners Dunk_G, PunkyMonsterArt, Legani, brueashear, Thed Jean, lukiw, Grizzledude, William, Z, Jerry Manrique Jr., Meep, Musushi, Hurf of Durf, Jakob, James omiley, and Flaccidpotato, and 10K runners Bryan Cortez and Bailey for your support last month, and a huge thanks to everyone who's stuck with me to the 7th month of this Patreon! Support continues to grow big and strong, and so does my motivation to keep this operation running!

Been busy as ever! So here's the rundown of what I'm up to.

As summer is drawing to a close, the yeet-chan summer set will be wrapping up as well! You've pretty much already seen what's to come in the wipdate posts, just a bit of polishing up to do and they'll be posted up on the twitter in the coming weeks. I'm very grateful it's had a successful reception!

It's a bit slow-moving, but I am still working on the merch stuff! If things go well they should be slated to launch on https://yorunoecchi.com/. I plan having prints and stickers of all the yeet-chan sets from the past few months up for sale here.

Test print one of the merch dudes showed me!

As for what's upcoming on the pipeline, for the fall season I'm thinking I want to get a bit more variety going, so expect some piece of fanart and some of my other oc's here and there (I think I've said this multiple times already but the summer set literally took up the whole summer). I am still very much brainstorming ideas for future yeet-chan art sets as well! Here's what the twitter posting schedule for August is looking like:

As you can see, we're pretty much a month in advance at this point! I'm very satisfied how far along our little production pipeline currently is, so I'm excited to get to drafting out new pieces for September to keep it up. I hope you look forward to it as well!

Regarding commissions, I'm still a bit in the air as far as when I will reopen. Just still got a few loose ends here and there on my plate that need clearing up. Furthermore, I might be taking a vacation at the end of the month. So I'd say a September reopening would be a safe bet. However I may be keen to opening slots here in advance and I have a new sheet being put together updated to my current style. So keep a lookout for that if you're interested!

New comm sheet might look something like this.

Alright, so what's been going on with ol' Jieb in general? Admittedly, because I've been having too much fun with my little art hustle I haven't done too much on the UX and job searching end... I gotta work on that! But I don't regret the fun one bit, it's the love of the game folks.

I suppose I'm just stretched a bit thin at the moment. I feel once I've got the art front running as tight and efficiently as possible with finally getting the merch set up and having general production several steps ahead of the curb, the more I'll be able to take on other pursuits. Time management is tricky!

Ironically as drab as I find my current job, the fact that it's part time is what allows me to do all this, and I'm fortunate I was able to get health coverage on part timer hours (the main reason I'm there at all). It's a very particular setup that's working for the most part at the current moment, and the long game may lay in nudging the pieces in place to get where I ultimately want to be (to get the hell out of retail!!! and into a well-paying career while still able to do art!). At the here and now, I hope you're enjoying the show!

I am currently playing Metroid Prime Remastered! I'm fairly new to the series having only played Dread and then Zero Mission, but what I've played so far I've greatly enjoyed. Perhaps I'll draw a Samus piece in the near future...! I'm still waiting for SMTV:V to go on sale on steam (I keep seeing it get discounted on literally everything else wth), and I also look forward to playing Yakuza Kiwami soon as well.

I think that's that for this here monthly roundup, and thanks again for your support! The Jieb Agenda is always in motion...

Check out these Toonize Chainsaw Man figurines I picked up! I've always loved gashi's art, and it's so cool to have it in stylish figure form. Being able to do art design for figurines sounds so cool...!
