my running routine usually consists of a 10ish minute walk before and after, and maybe a secret is taking walk breaks in between whenever it feels necessary, such as after every mile or at the halfway point of the run. good running is first built on walking!
like say if consistently running mostly 3 mile runs, you may feel improvement in endurance with needing to take less walk breaks to the point of running the whole thing straight, and of course, seeing your running pace get faster (a fitness watch and/or running app is nifty in this case). and once feeling stronger and more confident, you can start to up the distance and add more miles
it’s just important to know your limits too. what with me having a job that requires *lots* of walking now, I usually can only run on my days off or early before work because otherwise my poor feet are too painfully fatigued. keep consistent and respect when you gotta rest as well the patience and time it takes for improvement to build

What's the best way to get better at runs your improvement has always been absolutely insane but in a great way and while I might not make it to this level I would love to take better care of myself by going on runs so I took may enjoy beautiful days for runs
