Next Video + Plans for Second Channel!

Hey all! Hope you all had a fun Christmas this year. Remember to grab your presents in-game! You have until the 2nd of Jan. before they disappear. I have an update video wise for you. During the 13th anniversary of WoW, I made a video talking about some of the more memorable moments in the game's history. I decided to go ahead and make a follow-up to that, so the next video will be "memorable moments part 2". You can get a full preview in the attached script, but in this one I go over:

1. The release of BC

2. The release of flying mounts

3. Kazzak's Stormwind vacations

4. The release of DKs

5. WOTLK Lich King saronite bomb glitch

6. Your first mount

I think it's turning out pretty good so far! It's 15ish minute video, so it's on the longer side. I might have it ready today (29th), but if not you can most likely expect it on the 30th.

Something I've talked about in the past is starting up another channel for non-WoW stuff. The main thing that's stopped me is free time, and mainly Evo of WoW 2 since that was my big side-project for quite a while. Now that I've finished that, I got some more time freed up.

Basically, my idea would be sort of a hybrid review/playthrough channel for my favorite games other than WoW. Some examples are the final fantasy series, resident evil, fallout, chrono trigger, secret of mana etc.. I want to play through these games and give a start-to-finish overview of the story, gameplay, and so on with a bit of comedy mixed in. Not really a review, and not really a playthrough(or "let's play") - something in between. The goal is to give people who didn't get a chance to play these games the ability to say that they've experienced them in some way.

I've actually already started on my first planned game, FF7, and it's turning out really well so far! I think the people who watch it will find it entertaining.

It's quite the huge project as you would imagine. I just started the game pretty much and the script is already longer than Evo 2. But, I'm making good progress on it. If I went super hardcore with it I could probably finish it in about a month, but I don't want it to take away from my current channel so we'll just go with the "slow and steady" method.

If/when I do ever finish it, I'll be putting it up on an alternate channel since I want to keep MadSeasonShow WoW-only. I've seen other content creators try to mix content in the past and it hasn't turned out well, so I think this would be the best route. It'll be fun too - sort of like rolling a new alt. A new adventure!

So, I've been having fun with that with my non-wow time. Lots of plans for 2018! I hope things turn out well, but as long as we have fun we can never go wrong, right?

Anyways, I'm off to start my day and get some editing done. Thanks for your amazing support as always and have a great day!

I love the oldies. I think recently they got off track(latest I played was 5), but 1-3 are definitely masterpieces!

I can't speak for others, but for me personally I guess it's about not wanting to mix content together. My main channel has been WoW only for quite a while now, and from what I noticed people tend to get annoyed if you stick with one thing for a long time and then start switching things up. Another aspect for me personally is I think it might be fun to start from scratch. I made this comparison in the post, but it's similar in a way to rerolling an alt in wow - something new from a clean slate. Those are just my reasons though - I'm sure it varies from person to person.

why do people make second channels when they already have the audience?
