Next Video Script + Update on Evo of WoW 2 Progress
Added 2017-10-19 04:25:48 +0000 UTCHey guys!
I have another preview script ready for you. In my last post I said I was thinking about knocking out that mount farming part 2 video. I kind of got stuck with that since I haven't decided on what criteria I want for the video. The general idea would be to have all of the mounts that drop from enemies(so no rep, achievement mounts etc), excluding the daily/weekly dungeon/raid mounts that I covered in part 1 of course. I'm having trouble deciding if I should include rare spawns or not. Those are technically drops, but can you really say that waiting for a rare mob to pop up for 12+ hours is farming?
So, I've been in a snag on which mounts I want to include and which ones I don't. While I mull over it, I decided to go ahead and do something a little different. I thought it would make for an interesting series of videos to go over the hardest grinds in WoW. Legion is pretty grindy, but I want to show everyone just how bad some of the old grinds were.
In the first one I'll be covering all of the reputations for "The Insane" title, which I think most people would agree are pretty, well, insane. So that's 8 total including the now removed Shen'dralar rep. For future episode though, I was thinking of limiting to 5 per video. Most of my videos are quite lengthy and I think it would be a nice change of pace to have some bite-sized ones here and there. I actually wanted this one to be on the short side, but it just didn't turn out that way. Ah well!
As always you can find the script attached to this post if you'd like a preview. I also have a list of all of the other grinds for future videos listed in there, so that should be a nice preview for future episodes. By all means if you see any I didn't list, let me know! Always open to suggestions. I hope to have the vid done by tomorrow, but no promises.
Also, I want to give a status update on Evo of WoW 2. I'm now in the editing stage of the episode, and it's coming along pretty well! Very happy with how it's turning out so far. As you know this is the series I'm most passionate about, so I put a lot of care and work into making it as good as it could possibly be. I thought it would be fun to tally up the amount of editing time since it will sure be quite long. So far, I've put in about 20 hours and have made 7 minutes and 30 seconds of progress of the video - and that's not including the script writing, the voice-over and voice-over editing! It looks like the video will be at least 40 minutes long, so it's still pretty far from completion.
I'll keep you posted on the progress with that, though.
That's about it for this update. As always I hope you enjoy what's in store, and thanks for your generous support. Take care!

Hey DS! You picked a good expansion to start. Wrath was my personal favorite out of all of the expansions so far, and I look forward to covering it in episode 3 of Evo. You bring up a good point with the LFR/LFD tool I think. At the end of the day, it's up to the players and I think it isn't true that they "ruined" the game - they just took out that mandatory interaction that you find at the core of mmos(along with the dungeons being easy enough to bulldoze through too). With that being said though, at the end of the day I'm always of the opinion that the game has to evolve. So, tools like LFR, LFD aren't really "bad" - it's just that nothing is ever 100% good or bad. That's just my two cents though! Thanks as always for watching and for your support! Have a good weekend

2017-10-21 00:16:08 +0000 UTCI enjoy your videos a lot and the fact you don’t like to watch too much other videos of WoW, so I can hear your POV of your experiences with the game. I’ve only started around Wrath, so everything before hand is very interesting to me, including in the sense of everyone’s opinion of the game that’s been playing since the original. Since most of the people who play now, either say vanilla was better than the recent, how LFR/LFD ruined the game, but technically you don’t HAVE to use them to find people. Finding people for either/or can still be accomplished by using the old method of finding people.
