Chapter 1872

It really does remind me of earlier in the book, when skill use was interesting and versitile. When fighting, Randidly doesn't seem to take advantage of his overwhelming number of skills, his initial advantage. Probably due to all the missing abilities and skills that seem to have been weakened and stripped of all complexity. Forgive me for going on, but such as: - Ash aura that hampers enemy skill use and impedes their movement (I think the skill is used but it has lost all it's coolest, imagry and power. Last used in that football stadium on Expira, I think) - His Tree's ability to oppress others mentally (last really used against donnyton) - The flexability from his Tree - The warping, shadow-step-like dodge move from his Creature (he used to be able to properly dodge, warp space and dissolve into ash. But as it's rarity went up, it got shitter) - His Egg spells - all of them. His gravity defying molten engine was so cool. I miss his spells so much, he used to be a Spell-Spear. - The Creature ability to use image versions from alternate randidlies (like he used against the swaac, 5 bell image guy on Expira) - The weird Ash vision/world skill that let him sit in a world of ash and find faults in things - Idiosyncratic cut! Such a cool spear move, not used for years. It seems very powerful temporal skill that is just not used - baffled that it was not combined with the Creature skill set. - Earthquake? - Enchanting... - He doesn't seem to use his 2 future predicting skills in combat anymore too - Erode Image (used so well on Tellus) There's a few more but I'm unsure if they've been forgetton or Rand has cannibalised them. It seems like alot of skills have been stripped back and nurfed, doesn't make sense with the high skill rarity.

2021-09-25 06:08:13 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure it was that she could only bond/mate with one person and technically mating with herself didn't count as another person. Also that she wanted someone stronger or as strong as her as her mate hence why she went the route she did. Rand, as talented as he is, isn't in her weight class

2021-09-21 19:49:14 +0000 UTCOk! After some thought, I just came up with my own wild shot-in-the-dark prediction that will probably not come true. (It just didn't sit right with me parroting Ichikira's prediction without making one of my own.) Wild prediction #5! The point of the contest is not to get the token. The point of the contest is to see how the participants act, and each action is scored somehow. The Don is using a token as the treasure that represents something he ought to hate with all his soul and being. That should be a big hint to anyone who knows the man's history. There are probably emotion reading mechanisms in place too. The token will probably curse anyone who is happy when they pick it up. It will only accept people who feel loathing and disgust while looking at it.

2021-09-21 05:50:13 +0000 UTCClaudette has inspired me with her fantastic improved image. I have decided it is now time for me to go for my own first image refinement. I have talked with someone to help me with this. He has asked me to come up with all the relevant documentation I can get together related to my world. Although, it is really starting to feel like my world-building... err... I mean "image," is improving more from me writing down my own word-bible... err... I mean "understanding my own image" in the preparation process. Well, the facts remain. I'm having trouble developing the human cities in my world, and I had to get some outside help.

2021-09-20 20:02:39 +0000 UTCDing-dang it! That's a good wild prediction! And here I was just trying to figure out what wild thing to predict next now that my 4th shot-in-the-dark had proven false as well. I am literally starting to enjoy making very wild predictions that, so far, have proven 100% inaccurate. I made the first few seriously, but now I think I will try to make it a thing. I will hold back for now because, well... yours is just so good that now all I want to do is second yours and I can't think of any other good ones.

2021-09-20 19:22:18 +0000 UTCI think you nailed it - Randidly is at his best fighting ABOVE his weight class. It's a blast seeing him overwhelmingly powerful, but it's awe-inspiring when he uses his unique skillset to overcome a challenge that should be impossible.

2021-09-20 17:04:07 +0000 UTCI haven't been this hyped since the Under-25 Tournament of Tellus. The stakes, the insurmountable obstacles in front of him. And despite it all, Randidly consistently fought above his weight class, so far as getting his skill shattered. But he survived. And I know he will do something even crazier here.

2021-09-20 09:21:31 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter! Here's my prediction about what happens next. To survive, Randidly calls in his favor with Don and gets access to his true body. With his connection to the Alpha Cosmos restored, he brings out the patrons. Chaos ensues. I'm probably way off the mark, but I'm definitely excited to see how this Arc ends! ^^
