2022-01-21 14:49:35 +0000 UTCso obviously its just a story, and we're here to see Rand... but a lot of the backstory/info we've been given about this mountain has been lacking or just briefly skimmed over? i still felt like the hand full of chapters where rand goes from seeing the frost matriachs home to o gee its time to leave on a side quest, as VERY abrupt. its like a chapter was missing? the disciple made several statements that implied that no one should be outside, while he seemingly despaired of his time INSIDE the mountain... acting like the mountain controlled his free will. i wonder if the energy/mountain has 3 different facets/locations... and the "path" randidly is following wasnt the actual "path of blood" the surface of the mountain (the outside) is the path of BLOOD - physically fighting the pattern the insides of the mountain either make the contestants UNDERSTAND the energy or resist the pattern? like the weight of the mountain forces the disciples to follow the pattern game, and its the job of the disciples to flow with it but maintain their minds and maybe even try to get ahead of the pattern. instead of a follower they have to be a lead dancer?

And would the Spirit paths focus more on the counter images that occurred in the DDR version of the Grand Pattern? While this path is more tank the hits and control them through sheer physical ability?
