Yeah. I mean that it seems he can “sense” the Lizakh, and that will lead him to Rand. We saw from the first Shaft Arc, when Rand made his core, that he needed to set up a Nether ritual to keep himself buoyed while he asked for metal for his ‘arm project’. I might be totally wrong, but that made me feel like his body stays in reality while he also projects himself into the Alpha Cosmos
