It can probably be automated by coding your own browser extension, something that might be worth it to save time spent on tedious routine in the future. If you ask your readers for help, there's probably a couple who have done similar things and don't mind helping out. The best possibility is where you tell the thing "publish chapters 706-707 on RRL", and it does so, then automatically unlocks the right chapters on Patreon and puts in next/previous links. (Could probably make it trawl the chapter-mistakes thread on Discord first, too, displaying any posts containing the right chapter number, as reminders. )

This will be pretty useful, actually; Patreon is a bit too much for my old iPad, and the tab keeps crashing when I'm using the filter to browse posts.

I've only seen a few authors with links for previous/next chapter. It's great when it's there but I dont know what kind of work they have to do to make it work, with there being so few it's either a lot or obtuse enough that more haven't figured it out.

I've seen some authors link to a Google Docs, containing an index and all chapters to date, which would probably be easy for you to copy from word

Yea, I didn't find any native way to do next/previous posts. I'll keep looking a bit. Its ungainly, but at least if I post it in every chap from now on it will be easy to find.

Works and is very much needed. A next and previous link would be amazing but would probably be to much work if you don't script it. The mobile website and app are terrible on older phones. With no search feature or ability to find specific chapters I wasn't even able to read the older chapters. My phone would drop the app that attempted to go that far back. I ended up having to scrape the chapters and toss them into an epub on my PC.
