Added 2017-10-27 03:48:31 +0000 UTCI underestimated Halloween's effect on my productivity.
In other news, I will be giving up first dates and drinking in November, so my productivity should literally double, as I've had planned. Its hard to say if I'll have the chapters I owe out tomorrow, but I'll get them out in the day Saturday!
Thank you for your patience, and Happy Halloween!

You should read The Gam3 at www.thegam3.com and there is a whole new genre to explore called litrpg...there are a number of fantastic Russian authors who have published now on Kindle who more or less are credited with being a big part of the genre's genesis. Puddles has some really fun things going for him with this web series if we can keep him from burning out .... cause he has been very prolific and has spoiled us with his fast publishing pace. Whoever is on here that knows him in RL please get him laid ASAP.

2017-10-30 15:19:03 +0000 UTCNot really a concern. I mean the tiny body of sentient water that is our author has a plan I'm sure. And we have raid bosses and eventually a calamity some time in the future. But generally speaking the initial introduction of the system to a world artificially limits the levels of the opposition in order to give the 'locals' a fighting chance. The level of people and of monsters in Cohort 7 is nowhere close to what it is in Cohort 5. So RG went from being the biggest fish in a small pond to being a relatively small fish in a small sea. Now, after growing into an orca he's going back to that small pond and he won't fit very well. He'll have a few high-visibility encounters with raid bosses, but most of the mobs there are level 15-30 and won't give him a sufficient challenge like he would get back on Spear World.

2017-10-30 04:38:37 +0000 UTCRemember the time difference between readers and the author

2017-10-29 19:49:30 +0000 UTCMy big concern for the story is that RG has advanced far beyond the level of his peers back in Cohort 7. I mean, he already was equivalent to an entire village worth of fighting power, but now his stats and skills are twice or three times what they were. How hard will it be to find tough opponents on a daily basis to help him grow?

2017-10-28 23:55:29 +0000 UTCWent back and Re-read entire story...first off, it’s a monster effort by big P. My biggest take away is how weak Randidly really is when set against the scale of the system - some big power ups have to happen somewhere down the road and there has to be strings of monstrous epiphanies for him to face the major powers of P’s system-verse. Right now, Randidly is still wearing system diapers. Hopefully, sometime in the future Randidly actually gets a mentor(s) who will communicate with him so we can understand a bit more too.

2017-10-28 18:22:36 +0000 UTCAlso I did a thing where some skills “lost” levels when they upgraded. Root control for example, and spearing roots. And a few skills combined, leading to loss of levels.

2017-10-28 13:05:20 +0000 UTCI'm too lazy to count up his skills, and we haven't seen his path list in a bit, so baring that... His soul skills have had: 250 + 500 + 1675 + 600+ points added to them so far. I haven't counted exact on four shaded clock work world yet, but it's at least 600 because a cycle is 200 and he has added 3 things. As for reasons that skill levels don't match the path levels, well you don't get PP for newly gained skills, so lvl 1 is no PP. He has also lost skill levels but not PP in the inevitable phantom arrives and in phantom embrace. I haven't noticed if he gets a soul skill tick or not for new skills...I'll dig deeper when I finally update character sheet on the wiki~

2017-10-28 03:57:40 +0000 UTC. I went back and Re-read the fight with the tribulation. I don’t think today’s Randidly could beat it, completely different attitude. Pestilence seemed much stronger and after the first encounter with Dian got written off. There is a lot of fluidity to this story. I think P is distracted a bit. We need to get P and Shal laid.

2017-10-28 02:42:51 +0000 UTCIdle question about how the numbers synch up... As I understand it, a person gains skill levels, which give them path points. They put points into their paths, which also automatically increments their soul skill the same amount. Between when RG first got to Spear-World (Ch 123) and now (Ch 269), the sum of all his skills went up 1910. This is the same amount that his soul skill goes up. But in that same time he added 3408 to his individual paths. How come the points in his paths doesn't match the points in his soul skill?
