Today we are proud to unveil the first batch of map assets we've been able to acquire, thanks to your generous donations. We spent many hours with several artists to find someone that would be able to emulate Fae's iconic and vibrant art style.
There were a few bumps and miscommunications along the way, but in the end, we produced something that matched the style we were after.
We also settled on a lower resolution for our character, which solved many of the concerns we mentioned in the last update, but we still need to refine the style in the coming days.
This is a momentous occasion for us, as a big hurdle for the writing in the game has been the lack of resources to bring the world of Erathor to life.
Leo's basement is a prime example. We wanted her to have an arcanepunk style workshop to compliment her story and drop hints of what her home country of Vistima might be like.
But all we could give her was a dull old desk. It significantly stunted our drive and creativity.
Now that's no longer a problem because of our loyal backers.So thanks to each and every one of you for your continual love and support.
But now comes an important question. With completely unique assets and character models on the way, what would you like to see added to the game?
