Well, considering Johnny ended up really getting into and enjoying Amanda the Adventurer, my suggestion for this year's Halloweenfest is for Johnny to take a look at Poppy Playtime. It's an ongoing episodic mascot horror game that's been out for about 3 years now, that takes place in an abandoned toy factory; plus it has similar bits of analog horror integrated into its storytelling like AtA, and seeing as how that made for fun reactions/discussion for that video last year, I can see this doing similar things for you guys. It has 3 Chapters released so far, with Chapter 1 lasting about an 30 to 60 minutes on average, and 2 and 3 each about double that length, for reference; so, if you want to just do Chapter 1 as just one video and maybe do the other 2 chapters at a later time, that'd be fine. Also, part of me suggesting this is because the developers of the game are based in my hometown of St Louis, which I just think is really damn cool. Silent Hill: The Short Message (on the PS5 store for free) is in the 1-2 hour range and I think it'd be interesting to see your guy's thoughts on the first real Silent Hill experience in a long time, especially Matt and Elliot's opinions. I’ll recommend Yume Nikki, the 3D remake that’s on steam and the switch, specifically. The original is probably the better game, but the remake is far, far better for a video. Not QUITE sure if this counts, but "Micro Mages". It was originally developed for NES in 2018 - 2019 (Ask Experiment for the dev history on that, he can explain better than me), but there's a version on Steam. It's 4 player co-op, so ALL OF YOU (John, Elliot, Matt, Greg) get to play all at once

I also have a friend who watches your content, and I know he'd probably like to see you cover KinitoPET, a short meta horror game inspired by BonziBuddy.

To be honest I had to ask a friend to help me with this because I wasn’t sure if any horror games that is only a hour long. My friend told me about Fears to Fathom Ironbark Lookout. I say Johnny or Elliott should play it. It should be on steam for about $10. I hope that helps and can’t wait to see other sgb announcement like this one in the future.

I think a wonderful addition to this years Halloweenfest would be ib. It's a quant little RPG Maker Title that has a wonderful creepy atmosphere that I feel fits the vibe that Halloweenfest goes for. As for the platform, this is available on both PS4/5, Switch and Steam, so if there is one that is easier for you all to record, I would say go with the console version. As for who should play it, I think this one should go to Elliot. The horror is mostly the story/setting though there are some gameplay moments as well so everyone will get to enjoy the frights. Thank you for opening this up to suggestions and I hope this makes it.

Well then, with all the terms added, I think this would be a good first start to Halloweenfest 2024. You guys should do the remake to the infamous Sonic.EXE (Now renamed Sonic 2011). Killer7 on PC (It's a cult classic from Suda51 that was only on GameCube & PS2) it's on steam for roughly $20. I think it's a fascinating game/plot. I guess seeing John take a crack at it would be interesting.

I'm not sure if you do special Halloween-themed Smackdown Sundays, but the original fan-made (and therefore free) TerrorDrome is great for this, if only just as an excuse to nerd out about horror movies. If not, another Darkstalkers game would make sense seeing as it's basically Halloween Street Fighter - Vampire Savior / Darkstalkers 3 is arguably the best one, and it's easily available on the Capcom Fighting Collection. Otherwise... Zombies Ate My Neighbours on SNES.
