Thank you all so much for joining me as I tackled the Devil May Cry series. It's been back-to-back with crazy action and now I'm feeling a little pooped, so next time, I'm gonna be slowing down a bit and get ready for the Fall season and beyond.

2023-08-15 12:35:11 +0000 UTCI seriously have to thank you for doing this marathon. I played DMC3 in June, loved it, and beat DMC5 with Vergil yesterday. This may be my favorite game I've played this year, and I have to thank you for getting me into this series. Sad to see you didn't bring up the "live action" cutscenes. They are legitimately hilarious to the point I have to take a break sometime due to how hard I was laughing at them. Still, awesome review!

Maybe one day you can look at the additional Devil May Cry lore like the anime, comics, or novels. Also I wouldn't mind a round 2 on the Bayonetta series especially since I'm curious to get your opinion on the new standalone Bayonetta game for switch. I really enjoyed watching your take on one of my favorite series, can't wait for the next video and have a good one Johnny.

This has been a helluva ride, and it’s only reaffirmed how much I’ve come to love this series since I first played it last year. I sincerely don’t know how Capcom are gonna follow up this game. With how DMC5 is pretty much the absolute peak of the series, both in gameplay and fanservice, whatever comes next is gonna have to be wildly different to stand out. Personally, I’d like to see a No More Heroes-style of gameplay loop, with Nero driving around an overworld in Nico’s van doing odd demon hunting jobs in different locations, in between entering specific areas for the more traditional 20 Story Missions. That’d be pretty SSStylish~ (Also I’m very happy that this is the game I get my Patron shoutout in)
