251 One Piece: My Name is Jack
Added 2025-04-22 10:25:48 +0000 UTCBy the time Jack arrived with Yamato, Kin'emon and his group were already surrounded by Rim, Enel, and several others.
On the outskirts, a group of Beast Pirates was busy driving away the remaining civilians. The nightlife of the Beast Pirates was always lively, and as soon as Teren and the others started fighting, a crowd of pirates quickly gathered. Aside from Enel and Rim, Jack also spotted the siblings Ulti and her brother among them.
However, as soon as they saw Jack, the two immediately bolted. They knew all too well how much Jack despised their nightly habit of sneaking around and stuffing themselves with food. If caught, he never hesitated to beat them senseless.
"It's them! They ate and didn't pay! And they look suspicious!"
"They paid with gold! I bet they're the ghosts of the Kozuki clan!"
"Move aside! Lord Jack is here!"
The pirates quickly made way for Jack. Enel, upon seeing him, immediately stepped aside as well. Just a few days ago, Enel had been feeling confident in his progress and decided to challenge Jack. The result? A severe concussion and a lesson he wouldn't forget anytime soon.
He had stood still, letting himself get electrocuted for half an hour, only for Jack to knock him out with a single blow. There was no justice in this world.
"Bastard! It was this guy! I saw him throw the curved blade!"
"It's him for sure! Kill him! Avenge Lord Momonosuke!"
"Slash!"
At Kin'emon's command, Raizo and Kanjuro charged at Jack. Even the unarmed Kiku grabbed a broom and lunged forward.
Yet, their attacks didn't even make Jack flinch. He glanced at Kin'emon and Kanjuro and smirked.
"Oh, so it's you lot. You really showed up?"
"What kind of ability is this?"
"Enel! Rim! Capture them! I want them alive!"
"Once we've got them, I'll have a proper reunion with them!"
"I've been waiting twenty years to settle this score!"
Kin'emon and his group stood together, warily eyeing Enel and Rim.
Enel smirked and waved a hand dismissively at Rim. "I'll handle them."
Seeing Enel's confident expression, Rim sheathed his sword and stepped aside.
"Fine by me. Saves me the trouble."
He shot Enel a taunting look. "Let's see if you've actually improved or if you're still just as useless."
"Heh..." Enel sneered, unfazed. "My talent is beyond your comprehension. Just because you beat me years ago doesn't mean you can talk to me like that now."
"Know your place."
"You bastard! Don't get cocky!"
Before the two could start bickering, Jack impatiently cut in, "Enough talking! Get it over with already!"
"Yes, Lord Jack!" Enel instantly responded, his expression full of eager obedience.
Rim sighed and closed his eyes. "This guy... definitely needs another beating."
Jack's patience was wearing thin, and Enel knew better than to delay. With a flick of his fingers, he called out, "
Thunderstorm!"
"Crack! Boom!"
A sudden thunderclap echoed, and before Kin'emon's group could react, a searing jolt of electricity coursed through them. Within seconds, they collapsed, smoke rising from their unconscious bodies.
Rim shook his head, clicking his tongue in disappointment. "Such a powerful Devil Fruit, wasted on an idiot. What a shame."
Jack nodded approvingly. Over the past few years, Enel had undergone rigorous training under King's guidance and constant sparring with Kaido and himself. His growth was no small feat. The combination of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit's devastating power, his advanced Observation Haki, and relentless training had transformed him into a true calamity within the Beast Pirates.
He had also learned his lesson about underestimating opponents—now, when he struck, he made sure they wouldn't get back up.
Jack glanced at the unconscious warriors, then turned to Enel.
"Spread the word—one week from now, we'll execute them in Bakura Town."
"Until then, keep an ear on Wano's movements. Anyone who tries to resist—kill them."
As Jack's gaze shifted to Kiku, who remained delicate even in unconsciousness, he sneaked a glance at Yamato, who was busy eating with Runty and her brother. He then turned to Rim, gesturing him closer.
"Lord Jack?" Rim asked, stepping forward.
"Take that girl to your room first."
Rim blinked at Kiku, then suddenly grinned. "Ah, I see! Understood!"
With Kin'emon's group taken away, Jack began feeling restless. He found an excuse to shake off Yamato and headed straight for the pleasure district.
When he arrived at Rim's room, he found Rim sitting outside, smoking a water pipe with a strangely frustrated expression.
Jack frowned. "What are you doing out here? Where's the girl?"
Rim gave him an odd look and muttered, "Oh... so you actually wanted to try for yourself. No wonder..."
Jack's face darkened. "You didn't take her, did you?"
"Huh?" Rim looked at him strangely, then laughed lightly. "I just took a look, that's all. She's all yours! I'll stand guard."
"You'd better be right! And make sure no one disturbs me!"
"Bang!"
Not long after Jack entered, a commotion erupted inside. Rim immediately pressed his ear against the door.
"Heh, don't be afraid, sweetheart—"
"Wait! What the hell is—"
???
As soon as the room fell silent, Rim instinctively activated his Observation Haki. However, before he could sense anything, the door was kicked open.
Jack stormed out, hastily fixing his clothes, his face burning with rage.
"You set me up, damn it?!"
Rim, sprawled on the floor, stared up at him blankly. "Huh?"
Master walked over, raising an eyebrow as he took in the scene. He glanced at Jack, then at Rim, and finally at the room.
His expression changed.
"Lord Jack... what exactly..."
Jack cut him off, his voice thick with irritation. "A gift for you. Don't let them escape."
Master's eyes glowed with amusement. "Much appreciated, Lord Jack."
"Now get lost!"
Master left with a chuckle, turning to Rim. "Let's go have a drink."
Rim immediately shook his head. "No thanks. Last time I drank, my ass hurt the next morning."
