Comic - Fit For A King - pages 1-10!

I'm trying a comic again but this time I'm going to finish it, or I'm going to try. 😅

Wall of text incoming, grab a seat and lets talk.

I spent the last month focusing all my drawing time on rough drafting this, I didn't want to share or talk about it until the month ended because I was trying to figure my mentality out. I tend to be constantly suffocated by my lack of work and guilted about how slow my comic process is, especially with Folksy Wisdom. It makes me not want to draw at all and then no one wins.  😭

So I'm trying to not care about everything that keeps me from drawing and this concept was born. 

It's been a while since the lemurs came to New York and Julien is looking for a new fuck buddy, so Maurice suggests giving the penguins a try. The story starts with Julien already having chosen and recounts all the encounters he had with each one.

I didn't want to go into this caring about what labels and warnings it would have, I wanted to recapture the humor and fun the show had, I wanted to enjoy working on it. And I am! I had a basic outline of the idea and just let my ideas and imagination go for it, I'm pretty sure you know who Julien chooses but the fun is in how he recounts it and how he and Maurice banter.

Each penguin is different and Julien knows what he wants, he isn't new to one night stands but he has certain expectations, he isn't pleasing you, you're pleasing him and if you can't do that he walks.😉

So up front the Rico parts are- not nice, the characters do react to it and Julien gets over it quick, not his first bad fuck, but it's really close to non-con and at this point the most sex we've seen but the next part gets better I promise. No other penguin goes against Julien's consent and the rest is a fun time.

I did my best at keeping the drains simple, detail and backgrounds can come later during the inking process, I don't want to move on to that step yet until I finish roughing every page out. I'm hoping it makes the process easier to finish.

Comic also needs a name, I'm so bad at that, oh! And of course, this is all a rough draft, certain details and dialogue are subject to change. 😊
