Penultimate post of 2023! ✨

Hello people! This will be the penultimate post of 2023!

Today I will give generic news of what the future holds for IoM and tomorrow I will prepare some images with Jen to wish us all a new year! I think that with these 2 posts I can say that all 2023 there was a post every Saturday and Sunday of the year! 🤩

This week, as I told you, I took it for vacation and to share a little with the family these Christmas days, and the truth is that I needed it to keep my mind fresh. 🙂 Now let's go with the news!

1) Steam still hasn't answered me about the approval of the game on the platform, I did my best to release the game in December, but it was impossible, everything is up to them, the truth is that so much waiting wears me out, but I'll just keep waiting.

2) If the game is approved on the Steam platform, its price will be 14.95$, I remind everyone that it is 99.99% identical to the Patreon and Subscribestar version, I would recommend to buy it only to those who want to support the project more and to have it in the Steam library. If you are going to buy it expecting different content or because the price is higher, I say it again, it is practically identical in content. (The price is also higher on Steam due to the commissions they charge to developers).

3) The official date of the beginning of the development of season 2 is the first of January 😍, since some time ago I have already thought and have the ideas for the first chapter of season 2, but when I say "official date" I mean to start coding the new version, start preparing the images, etc. I can tell you all that I'm super motivated, and that at the end of the remastering I was fed up and desperate to generate new content instead of improving things... 😅 But in the end it was worth it, 😀 I am very happy that many people have written me thanking me that now they can play it in their language and that there has not been any bug (as well as the 4K quality and 60FPS).

4) Something I'm going to change in season 2 will be the version of the main program to code the game (RenPy) to use its latest version, it seems there will be a big improvement to be able to bring the game to Android devices that are bigger than 2GB. (From what I've read I'll need a server and be able to upload files to it, but that technical knowledge I have, so it shouldn't be a problem) 😉

5) Besides RenPy, I will update all the programs I use to be able to develop with the latest version of each one. (I will have to do a test with SOPHIE and see if it needs some adjustment. Remember that from now on, all the releases will be made in all 30 languages, and because SOPHIE is already quite advanced, this process will be relatively fast). 🤖

From Monday I go back to my cave with my computer!!! 👷‍♂️🛠 So, possibly by next Saturday, I will have to share with everyone the first images of chapter 1 of the much-requested season 2 of IoM! 😍🥰🤩
