Feb 10 Drop

Hello my awesome 3D Printers!! Again, so very sorry this one was late. Had a lot going on, everything is good, just been busy at the hospital, dealing with sick kiddos, sports for the kids, and had a big show. But, I am happy I was able to get this drop in even if it is late. I got some more Valentine mashup requests so you have a few different options on some of these.

Also, I will be publicly making some more of the fidget type stuff available as they have been a great tool for not just fidgeting, but for those with any kind of special needs related to dexterity, fine motor skills, and the like. I have been working with a few school districts by donating these items and it has taken off. So, I think it would be good to offer to all, and they also make great prints for vending so you can get a little cash flow.

Also, I have been working with a company called Magnet Baron, they make the best magnets I have ever used, and I have literally used 20+ different companies, and this one is the best. I requested to not have an affiliate link, rather, I would prefer any kind of benefit to be be given to others by way of a discount, so, they have offered to give me a discount code to give out, which is: BaronWilliams

Or, you can just use this link to have it automatically apply to your cart.

https://themagnetbaron.com/discount/BaronWilliams

I get no money or credit with this code, this is just a 10% discount offering to those who use it. These work great on any cosplay parts, my modular bins- which I am updating as we speak, and some new cool stuff I am offering soon.

Lastly- It was so nice to see some of you this weekend, I know there were a couple that I have already met at previous events, but I met a few new Patrons this weekend at my last event.

Happy Printing!!

*Next drop is roughly 2/20ish*

Ok cool, thank you.

This is a common issue with face down prints. Typically happens with the black filament, but can happen with other colors. You can select black to print as the last color which helps sometimes, but the real culprit is your filament brand and flow ratios. Flushing can be a concern if you are not flushing enough, but the flushing volumes I have in the profile is a bit overkill so that probably is not the case here. I would adjust your flow settings dependent on your brand and see how it looks there after you try printing black as the last color.

I have a newbie question. When I print Pikachu facedown I get a couple small black filament spots that show through. When it's face up it's perfect but it's a little rougher feeling that way. Is it the flush volume that needs to be adjusted? I'm still learning and only using the Bambu Studio Slicer. I didn't change any settings.
