New Year Drop

Merry New Year everyone!

Welcome to 2024, sorry, but I was so busy with the holidays, and this time of the year the hospitals are crazy so I have been running around like crazy. This drop is pretty random, but still fun in my opinion.

I made various sized plates for holding various things around the studio, and I thought that yall could find some use for them. The wall art panel was a project I was working on for some art in our house, these do really well if you have larger build volume printers, they do fine on standard size. I have also been working on some movie type stuff so you will see that in this drop and in the next couple of drops.

I do have a big Anime show coming up soon, so the next drop will be pretty anime heavy. I am also putting a pause on doing general commissions and reserving commissions only for patreon members. I have done a good handful for many of you already, and I would like to keep this as a perk for my awesome patrons.

I am cleaning out the studio and so for this drop I tried to use up as much of my old filament that I need to get rid of, so I had plenty of whisps and moisture problems but I was able to use up a lot of my leftover material.

Face down prints- I use 0.16 for the first layer, 0.2 for the rest, arachne walls, 4 bottom layers and for anything coaster size and down I do 100% infill. 10-15% infill for larger items. I also at times will switch to a lower first layer speed if I need to. OR if you do not mind the extended time, you can switch to a 0.2 nozzle for finer detail. Face up/layered prints I do 4-5 top layers. Gyroid infill on all non-solid prints. NO brims or supports on any of these. Remember to use good filaments, settings, and a clean bed to reduce any wisps.
