219 Naruto: Snatching the Mangekyō

"Based on the current situation, even if Nagato intends to use the Infinite Tsukuyomi, we still have some time to react and make final preparations," Tsunade said, her expression softening slightly despite her initial seriousness.

Akira spoke in a low voice, "There's no need to panic just yet. Given the incomplete Ten-Tails revived using fragments of the tailed beasts' chakra, Nagato may want to deploy the Infinite Tsukuyomi, but we still have time to stop him."

"In any case, be prepared for a decisive battle with Nagato at any moment." Akira's stern gaze swept across the group.

Tsunade shrugged. "Don't worry, Fifth Hokage. We've been ready for a while now."

"For now, we can't afford to let our guard down when it comes to protecting the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki. If Nagato catches us off guard, it could spell disaster," Fugaku warned.

The current Akatsuki, with Tobirama Senju among them, coupled with the Flying Thunder God Technique and the ever-infiltrating White Zetsu, and supported by Hikari's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, posed an unprecedented threat.

If they found the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, they could likely extract him in under a minute, escalating the situation further.

Akira nodded. "Leave the Jinchūriki to you for close monitoring."

"I understand. I'll take care of Sasuke—there won't be any problems," Fugaku replied with a firm nod.

"As for Karin and Naruto, Shisui and I can handle it," Tsunade assured.

Standing beside her, Shisui chimed in confidently, "Akira, rest assured. As long as I'm alive, no one will take Naruto or Karin."

"Good, I trust you all." Akira nodded approvingly before turning to Kaori.

"Kaori, I'll need you to keep using your Byakugan to monitor the village. If you notice anyone suspicious approaching the Jinchūriki, report immediately."

Over the past six months, Kaori's Byakugan had undergone significant evolution. Though still far from becoming a Tenseigan, its range of vision now fully covered the areas frequented by the Jinchūriki.

"Understood, Lord Hokage," Kaori replied with a solemn nod.

After discussing several finer details, the meeting finally concluded.

Following the meeting, Akira headed to his cloning lab, a routine visit he made daily—not only to inspect the condition of the clones but also to oversee the extraction of chakra from Ōtsutsuki Toneri's cloned body, fueling the final evolution of his Byakugan.

Yes, Akira could sense that the Byakugan was on the brink of its ultimate transformation into the Tenseigan.

This was one of his trump cards.

With the Tenseigan, combined with Sage Mode, Akira was confident he could hold his own even against a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.

After thoroughly checking the condition of the clones and ensuring there were no anomalies, Akira's spiritual form stepped into Ōtsutsuki Toneri's cloned body.

Once inside, Akira adeptly began extracting chakra.

It had to be said—the chakra of the Ōtsutsuki Clan was unparalleled in quality. Even after consuming fragments of the Ten-Tails, Tsunade, Fugaku, and Shisui still couldn't match the caliber of Toneri's chakra.

Remarkably, the cloned body seemed to possess an inexhaustible reservoir of energy. No matter how much chakra Akira extracted, the body continued to replenish itself.

Approximately thirty minutes later, Akira had gathered enough chakra to sustain the Byakugan's daily consumption. Just as he prepared to leave the clone, a sudden surge of chakra flooded toward the eyes like a broken dam.

In an instant, the eyes devoured a quarter of the body's chakra and continued to draw on the remaining reserves.

Without hesitation, Akira abandoned his initial plan and focused on extracting more chakra to fuel the transformation. He knew the critical moment had arrived—the birth of the Tenseigan.

After an hour of continuous effort, Ōtsutsuki Toneri's cloned body opened its eyes under Akira's control, revealing a pair of resplendent blue orbs.

These eyes were breathtaking, akin to radiant sapphires. Black pupils were encircled by a crystalline iris of blue and luminous white, forming intricate hexagonal patterns.

The Tenseigan.

After nearly four years of cultivation, Akira had finally succeeded in bringing these eyes to life.

Gazing into a mirror, the clone's face bore a trace of intoxication. Indeed, these eyes were aesthetically superior to the Rinnegan.

With a single thought, Akira unleashed a green aura, which quickly transformed into a cloak of green chakra enveloping the clone.

Tenseigan Chakra Mode activated.

The air around him trembled faintly as black orbs materialized and floated in a ring formation behind him—seeking orbs unique to the Tenseigan Chakra Mode.

"What immense power!" Akira murmured, marveling at the overwhelming strength coursing through him.

In this mode, he felt confident he could simultaneously overpower Tsunade, Fugaku, and Shisui, even after their consumption of Ten-Tails fragments.

"This is the power of the Tenseigan!" Akira focused, drawing one of the seeking orbs into his hand.

Formed through Yin-Yang Release combined with all five elemental natures, these orbs possessed devastating power, capable of obliterating entire forests effortlessly.

Only those wielding Six Paths power could even touch these orbs without perishing.

Shifting his focus, Akira channeled natural energy into the clone, entering Sage Mode.

The fusion was seamless. His face displayed the distinctive black markings of Sage Mode, though they were faintly concealed by the chakra cloak.

With the two modes stacked, Akira felt his strength rise exponentially.

"In this state, I might have truly stepped into the Six Paths level," Akira mused.

Although the definition of the Six Paths level was ambiguous and subjective, Akira's instincts told him he had reached the threshold of this legendary realm.
