I have also never read wuthering heights, it sounds interesting. You guys are great at the review thing, well done. You caught me off guard I thought at first you said the Brad thing, brat I don’t know lol so will have to research. All the best guys.

I watched the 1939 film version with Laurence Olivier & Merle Oberon, wasn't too crazy about that either. I will definitely see the movie, because it looks like one of those big ,colorful, historical movies. I hope it is better than the book

2026-02-20 04:48:28 +0000 UTCWhen you watch other adaptations, don't skip the 1939 movie, starring Sir Laurence Olivier, Merle Oberon, and David Niven. It's one of the "classic films of 1939." Also, if you're interested in the source of the "Cruel Intentions" plot, watch "Dangerous Liaisons" (1988), starring Glenn Close, John Malkovitch, Michelle Pfeiffer, Uma Thurman, and Keanu Reeves. The same story is also depicted in "Valmont" (also 1988), starring Annette Benning, Colin Firth, and Meg Tilly.
