Sense 8 is a great series, but Queer as Folk has a special place in my heart.

Pose is about the “Ballroom” sub-culture of NY black gay “drag ball” that inspired Madonna’s Vogue (which in turn was inspired by Vogue magazine. Watch Paris is Burning for more details). Sens8 is the Matrix’s director’s (they are trans now so I don’t know how to address them) TV sci-fi Odyssey. Both very good.
