2025-12-29 21:31:56 +0000 UTCYou picked up on the parallels but maybe missed the similarities, Kip knows Hunter loves him, but he's still not capable of being out because of the homophobia and risk of killing his contract 😁 Plus, he's never met anyone he's wanted to risk his career over before so he's panicking. However, this couple has a massive role to play in what happens with Ilya & Shane, which is why their story had to be told. Not sure if you caught it, but Scott meets Kip four months before the Winter Olympics, at which point Shane and Ilya have been hooking up for six years. Plus don't diss the Queen Elena! She's looking after Kip because she can see he's slowly dying because he's in love with Scott and will put up with being a secret and having to lie to all his family and friends. She's telling Scott that Kip won't tell him the truth, she's not pressuring him to come out, she's telling Scott he deserves not having to hide too.
