Side note, this was directed by Henry Selick, the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach. Coraline was also a film made by the company Laika, who specializes in stop motion films like ParaNorman and Kubo and the Two Strings, both of which are highly recommended.

2025-09-25 22:43:01 +0000 UTCAbsolutely understandable. I think part of it may be adults understanding stranger danger more than kids? I don't know. But I do support creepy stories for kids. I grew up on a steady diet of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and Are You Afraid of the Dark?. (I also saw too many R rated horror movies too early probably....)
