Added 2021-12-08 18:00:22 +0000 UTCRDS on handguns are and have been a thing for many decades, but I think the tech has definitely matured in a big way these last 5 or so years. With closed emitter optics and smaller footprints and tons of reliability enhancing modifications and upgrades. shooting with NV isn't a crap shoot anymore with your handgun, its viable and it works.
If you havent tried it and are still rolling around with iron sights, you're short changing yourself.

Yep. Went to RMRs a while ago for day and night. Much faster, much more accurate, and completely reliable.
