Weekly Pinup - Colors

Phew, finally finished it! I've been doing beach backgrounds a lot, so I might take a break from that, next week. Still, it felt fitting for this, and besides, I just needed someplace for her to be. XD

Thanks for your support! I hope you enjoy this one! I am really happy with her face. :)

I love that hairstyle you've been using With the buzzed part down the side. Goes along with the overall sexy design! :D Loooooove it!

You absolutely explained it right. And make no mistake, if you're fortunate enough to have a fanbase who supports your OC work studies, it must be very liberating and rewarding. You are a talented artist, to be sure. I respect that you have a preference and vision for your Patreon site, but despite the fact that I enjoy your work, I'm not sure that my patronage and your vision are a right fit. I do, however, wish you great success, and I'll be following your DA page regularly!

Oh she's gorgeous! And that pretty little blush on her face...like maybe she's flashing for her guy (or gal) but worried someone else on the beach will see what she's doing

Oh, ok, that makes sense, then, I misunderstood your post to mean that you didn't like the "sexy pinup" aspect of these. XD I do enjoy doing fanart on occasion, but it's something that quickly gets boring for me, unfortunately... Since I draw so much, I have little time to get invested in many shows or games, so I am left with little inspiration in that field, and I am afraid my art would show my lack of interest or knowledge. What I enjoy most, is creating new characters. I can understand if these random characters might feel "generic" to you, but for me, they give me a chance to try new ideas out, for new original characters. Most of my OCs start from such images, and it's how I brainstorm. Sometimes I will do only a few pieces of a character, while others spark entire stories that I write down, for when I have the time to start making comics (which I'd like to do soon). My Snow elf, archer elf, and a few others already have stories I have written, just waiting for me to have a break long enough to start drawing. Another aspect that I must consider is that I want to eventually make an art book out of these illustrations, and I can't include copyrighted characters in such a publication, unfortunately... In the end, my final decision has to follow my own passion, because that's the way I create quality art. That's the thing about being an artist: You only do your best work if it's something you enjoy, and while I enjoy a fanart or two of a few characters, it would be disingenuous of me to draw a ton of fanart for characters I know nothing about. I just about exhausted my "supply" of favorite female characters, lol, with those plushy pinups. I hope that I explained that right! Thanks again for your comment, I really appreciate the honesty!

Don't get me wrong, Pinup-style was why I signed on. I guess I was just hoping that your pinups would involve more recognizable characters as opposed to almost exclusively anonymous creations. The Plushy Snuggle series with Tifa and Mikasa has so much potential. Part of the joy of comic-style art for me is seeing an artist's take on established characters. Whether it's from anime, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, ad infinitum, there is so much ground you can cover, if others agree with me. Alas, I may be in the minority here and your longstanding patrons may be happy with the status quo. If so, I'll adjust accordingly on my end.

I appreciate and respect your comment! I imagine you are talking about my other, more "story-based" OC works, that I post on DA? I can understand if you enjoy those pieces more than my pinup work here... However, I must also point out that this Patreon is clearly advertised on it's front page, as well as each teaser that I post, as a "sexy cute pinup art" collection, so it's intentional that the pieces here be aimed at delivering sexy girls in skimpy garments, in usual "pinup" fashion. I am under the impression that that is what people are looking for when they join my Patreon, as a reward for supporting my work. I try to be very clear, so I hope it does not come across as misleading, truly.

I agree, her face turned out great. I love your work, but the generic pinups aren't nearly as enjoyable as identifiable characters or even your OC's. Respectfully, random elven/human chicks in teeny bikinis feel like they should be DeviantArt posts, not exclusive pay-for-content Patreon pieces. That's just my opinion.
