Wow! I can't believe how busy I've been the last several weeks! It's been tough, to say the least, to balance my freelance work, commissions, and this art book project. I've been putting in about 70-80 hour work weeks, and I am still lagging behind on a few things. I suppose as a freelance illustrator, that's a nice problem to have, though I think I have a little break coming up here, soon. I am going to take advantage of this little break to play some catch up. That means you can expect to see some more regular updates, soon. My plan is to spend all next week catching up on commissioned work, and then to spend the following week on illustrations for my Patreon project. I've got a lot of neat ideas for illustrations planned, so stick around!

Yeah, I love what I do, but it's a goal of mine to achieve a more balanced workload. Until then, I have the motivation to keep it up, so no worries! And you can expect to see more of her soon, as I will be devoting much of next week to progress on her set of illustrations.

2014-08-07 17:59:11 +0000 UTCYeah having a lot of work is a blessing and curse. You get to pay the bills, but it can be difficult to have enough time or energy for other endeavors. Hopefully it all works out and we'll get to see some more of your elf archer in action!
