Pink pop (term 17 reward)

Actually she never really had magical girl type powers. The concept of "Jem and the Holograms" is that Jem is the alter ego of Jerrica Benton who own inherited a record company from her father upon his death. Her father created a super computer named Syngergy that can create holograms allowing Jem and her friends to create amazing music videos as the SFX was all holograms. Jerrica accesses Synergy through the use of two star earrings that act as portable hologram projectors allowing her to become Jem anytime anywhere. That said these hologram projects are not limited to just becoming Jem but she can look like anyone she wants. I was a huge fan of Jem when it first came out as well I collect the relaunched comic book and have the complete boxset for the series. It's very much a giant music video show as they have 3-4 songs per episode.
