How To Think 3 Dimensionally When Drawing and Animating

Here you can see another shot by Uita. In this shot, some characters feel a little flat and out of proportion - that doesn't mean this isn't good work, but it could be great! How?

Well, looking at the characters in the foreground, their proportions could be adjusted but more importantly, the character on the lefts shoulders could be given more depth and the perceived space between the two characters could be accentuated through their proportions (the size of left characters hand etc). When I come to tying down this shot, I'll show you these corrections and revisit this subject.
