Did Microsoft Steal DoubleSpace?
Added 2020-09-22 21:37:50 +0000 UTCThe whole MS-DOS DoubleSpace/DriveSpace thing. It's been on my mind for years. Probably far too many years to be healthy. But I guess that's kinda why I make these videos.
Why did we have DoubleSpace in DOS 6.0, but then DriveSpace in DOS 6.22?
What happened? Why was there a legal case? Are Microsoft criminals (that's probably a more in depth story for another lifetime).

This is such a great video! Brought back tons of memories of when I was into these things. Perhaps you could take a look at Norton Utilities and Sidekick. Maybe even software like Smart and Lotus Symphony. Ooooh.. I'm getting tingly now!
