Digestion Preferences
Added 2017-06-07 15:47:55 +0000 UTCThe commentary on the most recent page made me wonder - what kind of digestion DO my patrons prefer? Hence, this poll.
Shrinking Bulge - Outline becomes less and less humanoid as it gets smaller and more oval. Similar to Wicked Witch Melting, except it effects the whole body at the same time.
Wicked Witch Melting - Like Alt-Safi in wheel O' doom. If vertical this would result in feet melting and/or becoming shrinking bulge-esq first, then legs, etc.
Withering - Like Jade in Glue Plant, the woman gets thinner and thinner as her life is pumped away. In a digesting pod situation this would end with the remains becoming a shrinking buldge.
Other - Other
Digestion is Not For Me - As the name implies. There will still be digestion in the series, but I'd rather only folk truly interested in digestion vote for the other options..

Yeah I find digestion to be a substantial turn-off, pretty much irrespective of method or circumstance. I'll tolerate it if it's in conjunction with something I do like, but digestion for digestion's sake is in my opinion a sorry waste of someone that could otherwise be toyed with further.

2017-06-08 04:44:11 +0000 UTCI'm going to go with withering, as I'm a big fan of that sort of thing where spiders are concerned, Honestly though, it was a tough choice between withering and melting for me. I'm also a fan of prey being reduced to bones, though since gore isn't a part of this (which I'm fine with), I'm perfectly ok with bones being ejected as a sort of finality. I don't consider bones to be gory. They're just bones unless gore is added to them. I'm with Mirdarion in that I don't mind the prey enjoying themselves till the end. More erotic that way. I have no problem with painful digestion though. I suppose the only real thing I'm not a fan of is scenes ending before you get to see what happens, or the aftermath of what's happened. It just feels like a cop out to me when it's left to the imagination. I love finality in such scenes. 'Spider vore' scenes are the worst for this, usually just ending with the prey all wrapped up and hanging out in a nest full of other such hanging prey. I mean...does the spider ever eat? It's not a vore scene if it just ends with them wrapped up. It's a bondage scene, which may or may not imply vore. Call it a bondage scene, and I have no problem with it. Now, to be clear here, I'm talking about comics or series, not stand alone images.

2017-06-08 02:59:27 +0000 UTCDepends on the plant/monster, because I like variation. Some of them would be cool if we just saw a bulge getting smaller and smaller (turning from woman-shape into round, perhaps then seeing it being drained away), others with more graphic melting. Personally, I would be okay with bones, but understandably that is too much for a lot of people (at the same time, gore is nothing for me) - the situations where this fits are pretty rare though. I am also a fan of unusual »digestion«, i.e. not directly as a means to feed the predator itself (like my bee suggestion a couple months back). Combinations of all that also work well, such as a plant using a victim to carry its seed for a distance, only to then become rooted and digested from the inside out by the growing seed. Most important for me is usually some kind of enjoyment for the victim though, purely painful digestion is not my thing, just as mind control (beyond the usual idea of »pheromones« working as a lure) also takes the fun out of it.

2017-06-08 01:18:27 +0000 UTCRepulsive and while I can tolerate it, I will definitely enjoy if the "not for me" wins the poll and its stops being defactor method of killing the characters

2017-06-07 23:52:39 +0000 UTCSo, question for the "Digestion is not for me" voters. Are you like me and just stating that digestion isn't a particular... Uh.. Kink (I guess?) Of yours, but you're fine with it in the comic? Or, is it repulsive in some way and you don't want it in the comic whatsoever? I'm mostly just curious because the way I read the poll you could answer that either way

2017-06-07 23:46:03 +0000 UTCI think the order they are posted in sums up my preferences, though I won't complain about it. The fact that this is meant to be erotic, and it has also been stated there will be no gore, means it won't be a terrible thing to watch. I am curious if anyone can come up with something for the "other" category, though!

2017-06-07 18:02:18 +0000 UTCI'm good with all three types. They kind of imply different mechanisms, all of which have their appeal.

2017-06-07 17:42:17 +0000 UTCI'm with you. I'm more ok with the less painful looking ways of dying. Which I assume the plants will kind of do like with safi when she melted. Or glue plant girl who moaned the whole time. Blood and bones and stuff I'd rather not see. Hell. If that's what happens then the cave should be littered with bones. Though that would be a lot of wasted calcium for the planted. And I'm guessing the seaweed does something else since the plants actually change their victims and not just digest them.

2017-06-07 17:37:07 +0000 UTCI Liked how the WoD Safi scene worked, I wonder what it would look like in color... Though I'm in the group that didn't mind the withered look from glue plant. Its not my "thing" but doesn't bother me in any way. At some point plants get fatal in this I assume and if its not going gore it'll be digestion in the plant world. Based on the cover image to this comic we won't always be in plant world which opens other options
