4/21 Update

Been posting updates in the discord, as per usual. Some notes:

10/30 Update

Been quietly updating the discord most of this month, as it were. Anyway, polling and status update time!:

Minicomics:
-- CG is still working on Deck. Situation in their country hasn't... really improved, but it's slowly chugging along.
-- Sushi has nearly finished Critical Failure, I expect this to be finished by next weekend.
-- Rasha has begun concept arting for Magical Strikers Go!, the next series they'll be doing.
-- Still working with SP on their initial test page....

9/26 Update

The discord has been getting updates over the course of the month, but let's have ourselves a patreon post! Granted, I'm unsure how many, if any, patrons rely on the patreon posts these days given how all the tier benefits are on the discord. Maybe just new subscribers? I'm honestly not sure.

8/14 Update

-- Google doc was updated last weekend, and new WIPs of upcoming main series illustrations were posted to the WIPs discord channel.
-- The previously mentioned polls finally went up last weekend. They were very delayed, I admit.
-- New archive links were posted for the bonus art / oracle tiers. I'll be posting a new archive link for WIPs once I've pushed a pile of old WIPs to the WIPs archive later this month.

Alright! Sono here. If you've been following the various discord / google doc comments, I have fixed my phone. Also my car, at least well enough. Using a toaster oven instead of regular oven (don't think I even mentioned the oven issue, you just get that sweet info as a bonus for reading the patron updates). Honestly, toaster oven is actually doing a great job, might just stick with that. I've even managed to not be terribly sleep deprived multiple nights in a row. 6/10 Update

First off, I will be posting several main-series images in WIPs channel for paintbrush+. One of them will be in full color, you can choose which one by thumbs-upping that image in the discord. Decision on that will be made this week.

The aforementioned 'Big Update' is going be Wednesday night and/or Thursday (EDIT: Unless moving timeline lurches forward, in which case Sunday. Assuming internet is transferring correctly). I was not expecting to be moving this month, but an opportunity suddenly presented itself so relocating I am.

5 / 20 Update

Official novel pages were added to the archive including a small typo correction from keen-eyed patron~.

There's another, fairly minor poll. It is a little spoiler-y, in that it doesn't involve any major characters. The spoiler-y part of it though, is that it confirms a certain upcoming character isn't "major". Although, based on previous arc content votes, they'll be getting a couple illustrations.

5/1 (Edit: 4/30) Update

Minicomic Updates:
-- I'll be contacting Rasha later this month (Edit: May) to see if they're up for starting another minicomic. As much as I'd like to have Rasha do minicomics non-stop, there are limits to what we can afford funding-wise. As the stockpile from the 2022/2023 minicomic delays was used up, we're back to just keeping the backlog # constant (instead of further reducing the list size).

Well, last week just sort of fell into a temporal vortex. That said, the overall writing goals for this month remain the same.

3/28 Update

As I mentioned in the patreon, I was hoping to line up the update with a rather important poll but I think at this point it'd be better to just create another patreon post when that's ready instead since it's already Thursday.

So, although there have been frequent updates this past week most it was bonus art which was not what I was referring to during the previous update. I apologize; it's clear I need to reserve 'daily updates' for times when I'm on vacation or the like.

3/19 Update

First off, Sushi will be doing the Critical Failure minicomic~.

Second, I will be resuming daily updates for the rest of this month, starting the night of 3/20.  Some of these updates will be writing, others upcoming illustration descriptions, etc.

Thirdly, I've started creating an archive download set-up. I know the discord archive is a bit difficult to use, even with tagging (and the novel illustrations haven't even been getting tagged). That'll be up and running this mon...

Apparently, "might be finished this month" became "was finished this week"! MTM II is finished, check it out in the minicomics channel.

Some new polls are up in the discord! That said, the illustration tie-breaker ran too close to the end of the month / would have delayed Eldrik so I am going to go with the option slightly in the lead (fullcolor) - my apologies for that.

2/27 Update

All right, the polling was overwhelmingly in favor of depicting that scene!  It was, however, almost tied when it came to deciding whether to have it in color or not.  As I didn't specify what the second image would be in the event it was B&W I'll be doing a second vote later this week that's just color vs the B&W options (If the illustration in question is B&W that means the update would have an additional illustration).

2/19 Update

Well, the poll turnout was fairly low, but it seems the text/image ratio in the previous update was okay.  The update coming next week won't be nearly as long (text-wise).

Hectic month on my end, hopefully I'll get sleep at some point... anyway, I've noticed that the update after next has a few scenes that'll... likely get at more 2 B&W images... followed by a color scene that'll get 1-3 images based on the general "what sections to focus on" poll.

Next Novel Pages

Have been posted in pdf form.  I had forgotten how much longer this update was going to be text-wise / it's several times the size of the previous ones.

Which gives an opportunity for another poll!  For this update, we decided to remove 3 planned B&W images to fit in a color illustration at the end + a very similar part 2** for that image.  This also resulted in us extending the update's length text-wise to reach the part of the story corresponding to those illustrat...

In other news, the 5/15$ polls for determining how many images / what to focus on in the spider arc have had fairly low turnout.  At this rate 10-15 people (which is far less than the number of people at those tiers) will be deciding what we're doing with the images...

We've done it! The google doc / writing draft document now contains all of the sexual content in the spider arc.  I'll be posting another set of polls either tonight or tomorrow. This will be both a general opinion/suggestion poll (another one), and a poll asking to what extent we should focus on each section illustration-wise.

Dec 25th Updates!

Happy Holidays! First off:

- The google doc will be updating *every day* for the rest of 2023. I have cleared my schedule, we’re finishing the spider arc this holiday season and possibly going beyond that.

- There's still 2 more main series illustrations coming this month, along with at least one more bonus art piece.
