And so the first Cameo Appears! Katarina was designed by her patron for this comic, so this is the only place she's been. Originally the misc chars had a much smaller plot presence, but I decided I wanted them to have more than a few panels and.. well, it led to me overhauling a fair bit of plot to give them meatier roles. I think the comic benefited from it, though!I also have acquired the 1-page Non-Exclusive Licensing Agreement we'll be using (well, the actual document will have "Exhibit A" detailing the character/concept on the second page). It was designed to be as short/simple and clear as possible. Katarina's patron already signed one, the other cameo-havers can expect one soon!I've also realized that I should ask the submitters of winning Grim Mini concepts (after they win, not before) to fill out NEAs as well, in case we ever want to create a grim mini collection in dead tree format. Granted, that's less of a concern, as we could leave out some minis if we ever do that.
