That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime (Slime) Episode 56

The AutoBattle is more unbalanced in my opinion. It removes any need for the person to learn but rather just let the AI handle everything.

Yeah...That's one of the major flaws for Slime is that it's magic/power scaling system is terribly & poorly balanced. In my opinion, I think Rimuru as a Demon Lord should be WAY stronger than Hinata, compared to when & how they first fought.

I mean most of these things wouldn't matter if there weren't soo many pointless meetings used to plot-dump events, and then when actual combat happens it's always so one-sided that there isn't even anything at stake. That's why I gravitate toward character interpersonal relationships, it has possible ties that are yet to be explored and its fun to figure out, but then people confirm/deny things. So I'm just sitting here, a saaaaad panda.

Ok, because it's getting to a point where you have 20 different problems with the anime for things that are easily explainable (though its partially not your fault) I am going to try and explain everything as best as i can (without Spoilers of course). Lots of your "concerns" throughout these episode are easily explained by exposition that the anime cut out. You can't help that they skipped explanations of skills but the reason they cut these things are because most wouldn't question them, but since you are a highly analytical & experienced person it makes the experience worse for you because you are expecting entirely too much sometimes. Rimuru isn't just pausing mid battle to give the opponent time to think, he's thinking at 1,000,000 times the speed of a normal person because of Raphael's sub-skill "Thought acceleration" so when you see Rimuru just standing there talking to Raphael or thinking to himself, that entire dialogue was most likely less than a second. Another thing you've got to stop doing is forcing our worlds techniques onto an underdeveloped world like this one. Techniques are different, bone structures are different, skills and weaknesses are different, and there are just a whole plethora of things that would make some of our worlds techniques ineffective. Even if you think its common sense to use some of the techniques you mentioned, it may not be common sense to them. Also remember fights in anime are like any animated show animating pianos, they never animate them to realistic standards, especially when those standards don't exist. The anime gives hardly any scale to these battles, for instance the anime doesn't explain that during Hinata vs Rimuru, Hinata was pushing her mental limit so hard to move faster that she started bursting capillaries in her brain, but thanks to regeneration they returned before any long lasting damage could occur. Lastly, lots of things happen in this anime for a reason, Rimuru didn't just pull predict future attack out of his ass but it's important to note while Raphael said "Acquired predict future attack" it was a mistranslation, it was "learned" not acquired. It may not seem like much a difference but throughout the fight Raphael was studying Hinata's moves and learned it because she already had a form of predicting future attacks, that's why Rimuru couldn't land a hit, so once Raphael Learned the skill Hinata was using she then improved upon the skill using information/data from other skills turning it into a better version (Predict future attack). I know you can't help but call things out when you see them but please keep all this in mind before you make an assumption. If you have any questions that can be answered without spoilers i will try my best to answer them.
