2022-08-28 06:53:29 +0000 UTCabout the universe thing at the end: first, it was sated that there actually used to be more universes but xeno wiped them out sometime in the past. second, unlike marvel, the dragonball model is clearly not based on the standard multiverse theory, as it was made clear that the universes were always made in pairs of two, adding up to a total of thirteen (for exampl 1 and 12, 4 and 9 and 6 and 7). it's clear they are not trying to evoke multiverse theory, as the ... xenoverse(?) is clearly something entirely different. although keep in mind that classic multiverse theory is still a thing in dragon ball. we know that is the case thanks to trunks and his alternate time line. so there is both the multiverse (xenoverse) and the multiverse in the story.
