Ainz is actually immune to critical hits. The regular maids, not part of the battle maid group, are homunculi and require more food to operate effectively than a human does, they're also generally stronger than a regular human. Like if a level one human and a level 1 humunculus fought, the humunculus would win 60% of the time. They all have magic items on that prevent fatigue, and therefore can work indefinitely as long as they eat enough.

Funny thing the main artist for the LNs became one because he really liked the prototype web novel series and just started to make illustrations for it. So-bin getting hooked on this series is the best thing to happen to it and author of Overlord (Kugane Maruyama) acknowledeged it multiple times.

2021-08-18 04:12:22 +0000 UTCfunfact, based on that scene in the bath, there have been certain speculation as to what albedo actually is. while albedo isn't the strongest of the floor guardians, that honour goes to shalltear, with albedo's younger sister, rubedo, who's existence hasn't been acknowledge in the show so far, being the strongest being in all of nazarick, albedo has the strongest defence of all characters. as for many of the other characters as well, the light novel shares stats card for the individual characters, showing their level, race, abilities, jobs and so forth, though they tend to leave out certain things and are very obscure about them and of course albedo is no exception. so far we don't actually know her full race. while she is considered a succubus, she has 10 level in imp with an unspecified amount simply categorized as others. now, based on what we know and the exchange in the bath, there is a rumour that albedo might actually be a nalfeshnee, a giant demonic boar/gorilla like beast from games like d&d and pathfinder (not too surprising as the author admitted overlord is largely based on their own d&d games with their friends). whether or not this is true is completely up to speculation, however it is canon that albedo's creator is a big fan of gap moe, the concept of the dissonance between a character's appearance and their behaviour/true nature.
