But peace doesn’t last long, as suddenly, a pair of Allosaurus emerge, targeting one of the younger sauropods in a calculated attempt to bring it down.
This collection of illustrations is directly inspired by one of my all-time favorite documentaries, The Ballad of Big Al. The iconic scene of Allosaurus hunting Diplodocus in a vast and arid salt plain left a lasting impression on me as a child, and I’ve always wanted to pay tribute to its haunting tension and raw beauty.
