[POLL] Are you interested in a Naruto/Danmachi crossover fic?

Premise
The main idea would be that Naruto and Kaguya unknowingly end up in the dungeon, in Orario, when she teleported them.
He loses the fight and Kaguya takes away his chakra before leaving him to die. But he survives due to his body falling on the magic stones left behind from the monsters that died in the crossfire during their fight. He will continue to survive off magic stones until he gets a god's blessing.
Goddess/familia
He will not join Hestia's family. I plan on making goddess Athena descend from heaven for Naruto specifically. He will be the first member of her familia.
I will use goddess Athena from the old Greek mythology (Homer's Iliad and Odyssey for example, not the one from Ovid's myths).
Pairing
There is something about Danmachi's art style that makes many of the female characters look like kids. I can't really get hyped for writing a romance with them lol. Freya and the Amazons are hot but they are also massive whores. So... zero interest in them.
I am thinking of making the pairing Naruto/Goddess Athena.
This will be Athena's appearance in the fic

2025-03-01 18:38:15 +0000 UTCI think that if you want to write it you should but before you do that you should wrap up some of your ongoing stories. You currently have 8 stories you’re publishing and adding another will likely have a negative impact on your other stories. It used to be where each story got updated around weekly, now it’s around once a month. I think you have too many stories going and it’s eventually going to burn you out. Different subscribers like different things and some are here for Harry Potter, some for Naruto, some for both. I thin people’s demands for updates for their favorite stories will eventually wear you down and make consistent writing untenable. I’m also concerned that having some stories will also cause some stories to fall aside as you lose interest in writing them due to having so many stories going which will again negatively impact you and your subscribers. I honestly think you’re one of the best fanfiction writers but I think adding yet another story won’t be a good idea until some of your other projects are finished.

I feel like it's more interesting to read the story of someone who is still imperfect, who still has room to grow, rather than someone who had already become the finished product. Sure, it can be done either way, with an old and happy MC, but you'd need some really interesting plot and events - like [Emissary] - but this fic doesn't quite fit the bill. This Danmachi fic would be more of a weak to strong type of fic and Athena will play a massive role in his development as a person and as an adventurer. An adult Naruto who died after a long happy life would not need someone like Athena to guide him.

2025-03-01 17:41:58 +0000 UTCRather than the kaguya I recommend the ishiki battle because he was prepared to die only for lost minute plot change to save to save him.i recommend letting him go through with it knowing he would die only to be reborn in denmachi with his Chakra as a sacrifice but his shinobi training in and memories in tack that way he lern to use his sage training as a way boost his abilites he he advance through that world. With his biggest limitations being how munch his body can take so he have to be aware of this weakness as traines to advance without his Chakra and kurama to heal him when he go to far.

The gods share drops of their blood with members of their family which in turn gives the mortals the ability to surpass their limits and dig out their potential, becoming superhuman. Athena does exist in Danmachi but she is only a mention. She is not even in the same country as where the action happens. She had no screen time at all. - The myths used in Danmachi don't respect the myths from real life. I mean the gods in danmachi do have the same name and domains as irl myths - but that is pretty much the end of it. Personality, gender, and even their relatives can be completely different in Danmachi. For example, unlike in the greek myths, Hestia is a cute and lively girl with huge boobs and she is not blood-related to Apollo.

It is my understanding that Familia might as well be guilds (though I could be way off the mark). So I guess my question is, is the Athena Familia an actual thing or is it's members be OCs possibly other mythical figures like Lu Bu or Cu Chulainn?

2025-03-01 16:33:11 +0000 UTCI can't do that. I get burned out. When i had only 3 stories, I was barely updating once a week, sometimes once every 2 weeks. Also, I don't want to do that. I wasted 2-3 years just to finish 3 fics. It took me too long. I missed out on writing for other fandoms. Lastly, I love all my fics personally. I don't want to delay them for just 1 because I write for myself just as much (if not more) as I do for my readers.

But i didn't like Ovid's myths (they came 800 years after the old myths) where he made Athena a petty and vengeful bitch. (Ovid hated the gods. Most gods are portrayed as evil in his myths). So I will use the version of Athena from the old myths 👍

Instead, he will become obsessed with protecting others due to failing to protect his homeworld. All heroes need an obsession. Bell's obsession is Ais. Naruto's obsession will be to protect others.

What I am asking is that for those 8 to 9 updates a month to be focused on one FanFiction instead of being spread out between multiple fanfics

2025-03-01 16:17:57 +0000 UTCIt sounds like an interesting story but it is a bit risky to take away all the power from naruto and on top of that to lose everything including the whole world would mess up naruto hard. My point is that most people don’t like an edgy Mc that suffers trauma and ptsd continuously. My revision would be to make him reborn in danmachi with chakra but no kurama or any other cheat. So he has to work hard to gain back the power he lost. And that he didn’t lose to Kaguya he just died after winning, that way he has regrets but doesn’t make him completely traumatized.

What do you think?
