Patreon Early Video: Cool Modular Computer, GN Award Tiers Shipped

Two things for you today: We've got a pretty cool stackable projector we found at an e-waste facility, but we also shipped award tiers. We'll eventually publish the stackable projector video publicly on the secondary channel (GNSteve), but for now, it's exclusive to Patreon. The only reason we want to push this one to public eventually is to help support and promote Kramden Institute, which is the non-profit that gave it to us.
First off, we just shipped all the award tiers, so if you've been waiting for your GN crystal, you should receive an email notice about it with tracking in the next 2 days. If you don't receive a notice by then and are still waiting, please email support@gamersnexus.net.

The PCMag article they very breifly looked at said it would be $370 retail for the setup they've got there I think.

2020-06-08 00:03:14 +0000 UTCWhoa... I wonder if it failed because no one's ever even heard about it? I think it's actually super cool! Especially that NAS function. That would be really quite nice to have the little router next to your other network equipment and as you fill up each disk you just pop a new one on top! Dang... I kind of wish this was more of a thing now. Also.... $40 for a pico projector is a steal, let alone with all the other goodies.

2020-06-01 23:45:33 +0000 UTCThat's a neat device. Looks like it supports Miracast and Airplay too. I'd say the cool stuff like that usually fails because they overprice it. Looks like it was $399 new in late 2016. Might be a bit much for a 720p projector.
