As discussed in my previous dev blog, I've been working on some crafting changes...
Ranged weapon crafting requirements have been reworked
Attachments no longer require perks to attach (muzzle/sights/scope/grip/stock)
Pipe Barrel crafting now requires pipes (new component item), improvised energy weapon barrels have similar misc item requirements
Pre-war barrels cannot be crafted by the player
Melee Weapon Crafting
Reworked to function similar to ranged weapon crafting
Melee weapon upgrade mods will now degrade. As there is no standardized damage progression, in most cases this means when a weapon breaks it just gets the default no-upgrade. I'll be trying to improve the distribution of melee upgrade mods in the near future so you can find them more easily in the world.
Recipes that the script fails to categorize are still disabled, in LitR there are only a handful of these. Setting Melee Crafting to Enabled in the MCM will re-enable those recipes.
Install these following the standard radfall instructions. I've also included the updated patching scripts for anyone wanting to try it out on their own modified list.
These changes are save safe.
UPDATE: 20July2025 - fixed the microscope scrapping using a MISC instead of a CMPO which caused a CTD.
