Hey everyone! These are the most frequently asked questions that I get about my cc/mods. I will probably add more but hopefully these will help. If you are having trouble with anything, please go through this post first before sending me a private message.

If you cannot find your question answered in the FAQ, private messaging me on Patreon is the best way. It is very difficult to follow comment threads since I get tons of notifications.
FAQ about Custom Register
What is the Custom Register? Do I need it?
The Custom Register is a functional object that is used to buy all of Insimnia's custom ingredients and functional food. It is not required but I highly recommend it so that you don't have to search manually on Buy mode. All items purchased from the Register will appear in your Sim's inventory.
When I click on the Custom Register, why doesn’t anything show up?
When you download the Custom Register, it will be empty and will not contain any custom items. The Functional Food/Drinks/ Custom Ingredients will need to be downloaded separately.
I can't find the new item on the Custom Register.
Make sure you have only 1 copy of the latest version of the Custom Register in your entire Mods folder. If you have more than 1 copy, the older version will always override the latest version.
I can't find the Hot Pockets/Functional Chobani/Functional Pepperidge Farm Cookies etc in the game.
My older uploads are zipped folders. They end in .rar instead of .package. This means You must extract/unzip the RAR folder first before putting it into your Mods folder. If you don't, you will not see the items in the game at all.
FAQ about Insimnia Eats
When I click on the Insimnia Eats Delivery, why doesn’t anything show up?
When you download the Insimnia Eats Delivery Mod, it will be empty and will not contain any custom restaurants. They will need to be downloaded separately.
I can't find the new restaurant on Insimnia Eats.
Make sure you have only 1 copy of the latest version of Insimnia Eats in your entire Mods folder. If you have more than 1 copy, the older version will always override the latest version.
I keep getting a Last Exception file when I order xyz from Insimnia Eats.
The most likely reason is that you don't have all of the 'Parts' of the upload. For example, you have to make sure you have IHOP Custom Food Part 1,2,3,4 in your Mods folder.
Can I use another delivery mod?
No. The original version of Insimnia Eats is compatible with Grannies Delivery and Zero's Delivery. Insimnia Eats 2.0 is not compatible with any other delivery mod.
The delivery person never shows up, can't click on the bag to open, etc etc
If you still can't get it to work after following the directions and troubleshooting by going through the steps above, you most likely have a conflicting mod.
I suggest removing everything from your Mods folder. Download InsimniaEats2.0, and a customfoodstall/ custom restaurant of your choice.
For example, you have InsimniaEats2.0 and InsimniaRedLobsterPart1. So just those 2 files in your entire Mods folder. Then test. If it works then, put back some of your other mods and use the 5050 method to locate the conflicting file.If it still doesn't work after that, I suggest just getting the food from the stall or by setting up a restaurant. I always test Insimnia Eats in my own game and I always make sure it works for me before uploading it. We all use different mods so I can really only conclude that there must be something conflicting with it that you have in your Mods folder that I don't.
FAQ about Grocery List Mod
What is the Grocery List Mod?
The Grocery List Mod is a functional object that allows Sims to cook Insimnia's recipes. This is the only way that your Sims will be able to make the recipes.
How do I use it?
Download the Grocery List mod and the recipe files (optional: custom ingredients). Click on the Grocery List mod. Find and click on the recipe you want to cook.
When I click on the Grocery List Mod, why doesn’t anything show up?
When you download the Grocery List Mod, it will be empty and will not contain any custom recipes. The custom recipes will need to be downloaded separately. Please see the first bullet point under the General section above to see where the custom recipes can be downloaded.
I can't find the new recipe on the Grocery List Mod.
Make sure you have only 1 copy of the latest version of the Grocery List Mod in your entire Mods folder. If you have more than 1 copy, the older version will always override the latest version.
Are custom ingredients required?
Nope! Just download the recipe files if you don't want to use custom ingredients.
I have all the ingredients in inventory, why is the recipe still greyed out?
Some ingredients require you to “open” them before using them. For example, if you click on the asparagus ingredient, there is an option to “open.” Once you do that, the “opened” ingredients will now be recognized by the Grocery List mod but they must be in the fridge or in your Sim's inventory.
IF there is no "open" option, you can just put the ingredients in the fridge or the Sim's inventory right away.My Sim just stops cooking the recipe/ won't start cooking the recipe.
This usually happens when the Sim is trying to set the food/ingredients down on a surface. First, check that there is free counter space. Then make sure that the counter is not blocked. If you use CC, the CC counter/table/fridge could be broken and the Sim is not able to interact with it. Go to Build Mode and place all EA items (fridge, counters, oven etc) and check if the Sim is now able to finish cooking.
When I click on the food, my Sim just stands there/ does an "arms out" pose.
This happens if your Sim is trying to get food from a broken CC table/counter. Try placing the food on another surface.
I'm getting a Last Exception file.
You are most likely missing a required file. This is more common in my older recipes. The ones that have the "issues" are the Tyson Chicken Strips, El Monterey Taquitos, and the Jello. Please make sure to download all the required files mentioned in the post. I have since changed the way I upload and the newer recipes shouldn't have this issue.
